Skyline Rb25det Fuel And Intake Upgrade
bazr33 replied to abs's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
how much are you selling the fuel pump and regulator for? i know theres a 300 dollar difference between selling with or without the fuel pump and regulator, but just seeing if that was your best price ? is the fuel pump a direct fit, or do ya have to make a custom bracket? I have r33 series 1 r33 Thanks Barret -

Should i consider getting other things at the same time like Walboro fuel pump ( I did buy a bosch pump 040 but, i want to put it in myself and im not goin to bugger around with making a bracket for it.) Injectors Z32 AFM Any help would be much appreciated I would like to get close to 230rwkw Thanks

R33 S1 + Gt 3071r-sp + Power Fc + Auto
bazr33 replied to dangerman4's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
how did they hook it up ? Who did it? Had they done them b4? And so the gear changes aren't harsh at all? smooth as the standard ecu? Sorry for all the questions, but this topic actually led me to converting to manual cause i didn't want to risk, getting the powerfc all put on and it going shithouse. Have you upgraded your auto? Thanks Barret -
Sorry guys for the F@#k around but i ll have my hiflow next week sometime but i want to be able to drive around for a week to make sure everything is ok b4 i flog the turbo off my hiflow is at the moment gettin rebuilt. so if anyone that was or still is interested in the turbo, if your ok waiting another couple of weeks then all good , i'll keep yas updated.

I appreciate your comments - there is a great deal of debate on balancing - one way to balance the turbine wheel and shaft and compressor wheel as a single unit. The other way is to balance the turbine wheel and shaft and the compressor wheel individually. You can usually tell by the shape of the compressor nut. If the nut appaers to be ground down then the turbine wheel shaft and compressor wheel were balanced together. If the nut is not ground down but then are light grinding areas on the back of the compressor wheel, then it most likely that the wheels were balanced individually. If the wheels were ground individually then it is not necessary to assemble them in the same relative locations. In my case this is how this turbo was balanced and has probably only done limited kms since it was hi-flowed. Many think that rebuilding a Turbo is overwhelming, but if you take your time, use common sense it is fairly easy. You said to try Garret - where are they located?? Thanks Champ

R32 Gts-t X4 Rims With 30% Tread
bazr33 replied to Mr GTS4's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
would ya take 200 Thanks -
yeah i might be buying a manual aerial and ripping the electric one out as im not paying 130 bucks for one instead paying 10 bucks and being able to keep it at a certain height . Thanks
-
Also helps to see a good tuner aswell i went from 187rwkw to 201, just because i was running rich as. I also have Power FC FMIC AVCR Split Dump Panel filter 3" hiflow cat Running on 12psi Some money spent on getting things were fixing up performance joints mistakes . i have been to APC, FIST, Mercury (just for power run) and Chiptorque, im gonna try matty Spry next and thats it.
-
im glad i swapped to manual then i have 201rwkw now, was originally auto still stock turbo on 12 psi power fc fmic, AVCR split dump and thats about it. Car is still fairly stockish the money spent putting in trans cooler, shift kits upgrading internals in my opinion, manual would be way to go. Only problem is replacing clutches, but how many times do ya have to do that. Not that often!
