  1. For anyone who needs to know, I found the answer here http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/154335-how-install-kmh-mph-converter-chip-5-wire.html Mine is now working a treat
  2. Thanks for the reply. Yes I checked all plugs, fuses and relays (one fuse behind drivers coin draw, one fuse and one relay in engine bay fuse box by the battery) and all connectors to the steering unit at the back.Took them all out, cleaned and put back. It didn't make a difference sadly. I haven't looked on the steering rack, will do that today, thanks. That's whats odd about it, it throws errors when plugged in, but the HICAS dash light doesn't stay on or anything. It does come on initially like all the other lights do when the ignition it turned but goes off along with the rest, so the bulb hasn't been pulled...
  3. Hi guys, I have an RS Four S manual rb25det with electric hicas and AWD When plugged in to my pc I get hicas errirs on RH solenoid and LH solenoid, however with it being the electrical hicas not hydraulic, the solenoid is not where I've been told to look(near battery area under bonnet) I've looked at FAST and can't find a reference to any hicas parts other than the ecu on left side of boot and the hicas unit its self... HELP!
  4. Thanks, I tried using the one marked 2p, both by the method shown in the above diagram and by tracing the 2p screw back the the plug and splicing in to the wire in the plug, but that didn't work. It just gave me an engine warning light (which I decoded to read number 14 - Vehicle speed sensor error). But the car was still reading KM. Any further suggestions?
  5. Thanks, I did see those pics in another post, but couldn't see how to relate it to my speedo, I seem to have a totally different back, not sure if it is because of the triptronic thing.. here is a picture of the back of my speedo...
  6. Hi Guys, Bit of a newbie here! I've got a series 2 Stagea with the triptronic auto box. I'm trying to fit a MPH converter. I've read a few posts regarding which wire /wires to use but non seem to match up to the back of my speedo from my triptronic version. at the back of my speedo I have 4 connectors, each with a load of wires in them. Does anyone have a pin out or wiring diagram for the speedo for the triptronic so that I can find the KMH speed input wire? Also to check if there is a speed output wire back to the CPU too? Thanks in advance
