i beleive that the federal police have some kind of control over airport property. back in the day when the airport was the 'place to be' we had run ins with them. trust me, the 'feds' are not to be messed with. think of someone having 2 times as much power as a regular cop but without the smug, i'm better than you attitude.

All extremely valid points. The main reason I decided to install the switch in the first place was the ease of being able to convert to 'drift' mode from within the cabin.

I have installed a switch that runs inline with the 4WD fuse. I use it all the time and have seen no problem for the last year of using it. Of course, the ignition has to be off before the use of the switch will take effect. (ie: no alternating between 4WD and RWD on 'the fly') If you don't wish to install a switch, simply remove the 4WD fuse from in the engine bay. And no, ABS is not affected by this.

I bought one from AutoBarn in Brisbane. Apparently* they hold up to 15psi and are quite reliable. However, they are quite loud. (unless thats what u want)

I agree totally with Slip (mainly coz he is using mind altering drugs on me). But seriously, I see where you are coming from Erin, but not all cruises / meets will be wee accepted by everyone. Its a shame yes but it happens. Try not to let it discourage you too much.

Guys, the weekly meet has been tried before but unfortunately it met an early demise due to people just not turning up. However, you all appear to be keen so it may work. Might I suggest that you make the meeting point away from the 'usual' places. This may help with the unwanted presence of others.

OK guys, we just had another meeting. Not many new issues were raised as most is already sorted. We did however set ourselves a goal to work towards. The most correct thing to say at this point in time is that an official Skylines Australia Qld. club is not too far away! We will of course keep you all posted.

Alternatively you could try Direct Clutch in Albion. I only say this because after killing two clutches before, I was directed to these guys and have had no problems since. Even with the 4WD putting more strain on it, the clutch just screams for more!

All this talk about the poor fella and he can't even defend himself. He will be the first to tell you that his car is not super quick nor is it super clean. However, for what it is, it certainly gets along.
