  1. Ok, here goes my tale of go and woe (not a spelling mistake). I bought the R32 GTS-4 stock standard a little over a year ago. The car had around 80,000 km's on the clock, was (and still is) immaculate inside and outside. First mods were on the inside with the addition of a Kenwood head unit, Sony 6 x 9" speakers, 600 watt amp and 12" Sony Xplod sub in the boot all from my old car. Of course, driving around with no 'real' mods was frustrating so next came a custom 5" straight through stainless steel exhaust made by a friend of mine. To go with the cannon, I had a 3" mandrel bent system with high flow cat and dump pipe fitted. Next mod was on the inside with the addition of an autometer boost gauge, apexi turbo timer, alarm system and, in the engine bay, a Turbo XS bleed valve. Now that I had boost and a good exhaust it was time for handling. I was extremely lucky to chance upon a full set of fully adjustable Bilstein coil-over struts for $100 per corner! Buy of the century! Next up was a custom clutch from Direct Clutch Service. A 3,000lbs job is still doing the trick now (my third clutch so far due to dumping it in 4WD) The car stayed unchanged for a while after this until I put it into a guard rail down Mt. Coot-tha at around 110km/hr (or so my passenger says). This was the longest mod to perform as it was in the panel shop for a good 7 weeks and $8,000. I suggest you don't try this mod yourself as it isn't much fun. (the crashing part that is). While in the panel shop, I decided to have the car de-badged, had all bumps and scratches removed before it was given a full fresh coat of paint and a Blitz bodykit minus the wing. I loved the look of the car and had done for 1 month after it was finished until some dickless asshole felt the need to scratch my bonnet. All that aside, I had also fitted a K&N air filter and personalised plates. Oh, and a switch to be able to alternate between 2WD and 4WD from in the cabin. Of course, I still have plans for it so I am nowhere near finished yet.
  2. Oh, its already been brought!
  3. Dance, techno, house (not happy hardcore) Hmmmm, what do u like now Slip?????
  4. Come on people.....lets get some more names on this list! Put your money where your mouth is and show us your stuff. If I don't see proof of your (or your cars) ability then I don't want to hear about it. The gauntlet has been dropped people, Get ready to be [ABU53]'d p.s: this post is in good humour but is also trying to prove a point.
  5. Hey Clint, Just to let you know, I was the guy you pulled up next to when u got to the car park the other night. Good to see you took my advice and got in touch with us. You won't regret it dude!
  6. Not sure who u could get to fix, but keep in mind that it may be cheaper to buy a new one.
  7. Sup dude, I always liked the supra but you made the right choice with the new car. Don't hesitate to say hi if u see me out.
  8. sorry guys, i was lazy and decided to get drunk instead last night. If anyone is keen to head down the coast on Sunday, let me know as Myself and Slip will be heading down
  9. I was thinking about a run this weekend. Doesn't have to be at night, could maybe be a sunday thing with a shortened mountain run then coast??? Any ideas or input anyone?????
  10. Brisbane..... I have a box full of parts off my 32 that I had left over after the crash repairs. Most parts such as the wing, tail lights and other bits are still in good condition. If you are nice I may even give some stuff away for free. email me if you are interested - [email protected]
  11. Just washed my car for the first time in ages. I'm meeting up with crazy Tse first so we'll see all you ppl there.
  12. I can only recomend one business...... Crusin' Panel in Tingalpa, Bris. Dave, the owner, does one of the best jobs I've seen and will beat almost anyone for price aswell. However, he is usually very busy so the downside may be a bit of a wait.
  13. Sounds like a good day slip. I'm in but for the love of god, tell me in person when it is coz i'm hardly ever on the forums. cheers 00 motorsport......
  14. Hey DR GTR, dude, I was in Sydney recently and I came back on Friday the 3rd. Well, anyway, I was in my mates VL driving through Kempsey when we passed this gorgeous yellow 33.....YOU! Dude, your car rapes the road! Pretty cool coincidence to have seen you on the road too!
  15. Guys, great idea...but... it has been tried before and well, nobody really turned up. I for one would be up for the meeting for dinner etc... but would most probably leave the cruising for others.
  16. wow, cheers dude i haven't checked the forums for a while so sorry for the late reply.
  17. I'll admit the gameplay isn't quite up there with some of the better racing sims out there, but I don't think thats what Capcom were after. It is an arcade racer. It does its job of pick up and play very well (i thought). As for the modifying... how could that ever not be cool ?
  18. This games rocks! I picked up my copy yesterday and if it weren't for work, I'd still be attached to the TV screen. Think of it as GT3 (only cell shaded graphics...way cool) but, you can mod your jap car with almost any brand of jap goodies known to man. Buy it now.....:burnout:
  19. Well, most of you know my current stance on 'cruising' so I'll spare you my bitching. This post is directed at you Squizz.....yeah punk...you! This weekend there is a big party happening. I know most of the people going and damn....there are some serious hotties attending. The party will wind down at around 11 where we will all head into the city or valley (Family nightclub). I am personally inviting you and your ultra cool rockhampton buddies. Just giving you an alternative to cruising, a 'far better' alternative mind you. Oh, by the way....you all may have noticed a hint of disgust on my behalf towards cruising. Most of you have to agree that organised cruising in the last 6 months has...well...sucked the big one! I personally realised this when sitting at an expensive (and somewhat classy) bar the other night and watching cars go round and round and round the city. BORING. I've said my piece now and please do not take this as a slap in the face to those who enjoy cruising. This is my personal opinion that I am airing. Thank you all.
  20. Ummm, what happened to Saturday??? As far as I was aware, the poll was there so we could all have a say. Maybe Slip just didn't see it there or something??? I'm thinking we see how the poll ends up by a certain date and then see which day gets the go ahead. It may not suit EVERYBODY but at least it will be democratic.
  21. Dave, I'll be there. Thanks for offering to take me but I decided to take my car. BRING IT ONNNNNNNN!
  22. fine then...take my glory will u erin!!! no need for poor old luke to help u anymore shaun you've got erin doing it now. y don't u just bloody marry each other now? huh, huh, huh!!!!!!!
  23. Well susprise suprise. My GTS-4 (grand a month) is having the same problems. Only, I know that it was me who fudged the box (ain't that right shaun)! Basically, the steps I am going to take are...... 1. Change box oil 2. Adjust clutch (This is more than likely my prob) 3. Re-build gearbox 4. Go all out and buy GTR box. (I like No. 4 the best)
  24. Just so happens that I have an extra rear light shroud from a....errr....past minor altercation. yeah...thats it. If u want it Birty...its yours
  25. Yeah Birty...EJ20 Twin Turbo. Shaun, You know you guys can stay anytime and yes...I know I rock  As for details on his car...how about I give you his e-mail addy and I'll explain to him who u r blah blah blah. Then, you can ask him what ever the freak u want! ps: just as long as there is a place for me to stay when I go up there, I'll be happy!!!!!!
