well, my Wife doesn't care what I do, so long as I stick to her financial guidelines.

The Plan? short term? toss away the keys for a while, until my bank account starts to fill again. Every thing else is still subject to change and being researched ,but i'll probably change the front bumper and the rear bumper, Tint, Coilovers, New Tyres and Breaks, New Exhaust, Engine mods can wait car is fast enough.

I've been quoted $1000 to get it fixed which is going to take me about a month to get, mortgage and bills and what not. I'm not going to ask for donations or a fund-raiser for something like this, it's purely on me and my responsibility. That being said If anyone needs some odd jobs done or is willing to pay me to wash their cars I'd be delighted to... Or if some one would buy my subs/amp ahaha. Other than that the cars just benched until I can afford to fix it/change the tires.Thanks for the thoughts though.

That's amazing. I'm a diy kinda guy, it only costs me about $50 in parts to service my vehicles. Dealerships never cease to amaze me.

Looking at it in the daylight I'm now not so sure. It's worse than just the door. The frame of the car has a big dent too. Might be giving it to a wrecker soon.

It could be worse, its purely just panel damage, nothing major, just looks bad. Wife doesn't care too much, she's just concerned about $$$. Starting the call around now for quotes.

Possibly, it was a red road too they have less traction I find (when on my bike). This was purely a combination of me being a little tired (5am), wet roads and inexperience.

Ok, so, I was just on my way to pick some one up at 5am, just taking it easy, wasn't doing anything stupid, car was traveling downhill on a turn, I was only doing 30ish km, the read wheels lost traction and I guess I was too slow to react, I let go of the accelerator and it just took me for a slow spin. If it wasn't for a pesky bus-stop nothing would have happened. All of the electrics still work etc...it's purely cosmetic. The dent could probably be pulled, but realistically I think i'm looking at a new door now, will have to ring around to some panel-beaters and get a quote. not looking forward to when the Wife wakes up...

So...this just happened. I'm ok. Will explain when I get home. Just thinking out I'm gonna fix it.
