I do not have a multimeter, I've read the DIY threads, Im aware of what the issue might be, but...KYP have looked at it and they said it needs to be replaced, it's possible that it's just come loose and floating in the fuel tank, or that it's stuck and needs a clean... Free Inspection from C-RED will determine that. Got called into work early today

Calling Welshpool Pits tomorrow morning to confirm a book in time. Exciting... Wonder if theres a way for me to twist my fuel needle up, so it looks like it kinda works. Who knows, might be able to legally drive this thing soon.

well, KYP seem to think it'll do fine, I'll try book it in for Wednesday, and from the looks of it, the car will go to C-Red Thursday, so if it doesn't pass, C-Red can rectify.

I can't make it. Cars not ready(legally), it's drizzling down here so no bike. Booking an appointment to get it licensed this upcoming week (could fail fuel gauge doesn't work). Imports night might be ok, but if it's gonna be that packed I might steer clear, too much attention. We should still cruise that night though. It was actually cheaper. They quoted 600-700 +150 for the tint, it only cost ~$680 over all. Granted they didn't fix the fuel gauge which could explain it, they also removed my immobiliser and didn't tell me... But that's not an issue really.

Mark from C-red said he'll take a look at the fuel gauge for free. Top bloke.

They need prior booking and I don't want to pass anyone off. KYP did a good job, they even hid my bleed valve l, did a sneaky. Very happy with the rude height (stock). I also have the stock airbox on it now. Now how the fudge do I fix a fuel Sender?

Nah I rung around no one is free until Wednesday next week. So I won't have car driving tonight.

KYP called everything is fixed except the fuel sender. Apparently it can still pass the pits without a fuel gauge.

Right, Under promise, Over Deliver, retail 101. I'm not upset that it's taking a bit longer, I'm disappointed because we discussed a time-frame, and they couldn't keep it, and they didn't ring me to tell me it was going to take longer. Also, it took more than 24hours, just to apply tint to 1 window, I know they out-source the tint... but it doesn't take 24 hours to tint 1 window. also, they charge by the hour, so the longer they take, the more I pay.

I would, but it needs to pass the pits, and if they don't finish it, it probably won't. Best to just let them do what they have to and pray that it's a good job.
