You're gonna have to be patient if you want a good stock set. Keep in mind that your car will feel like a boat, i had to go back to stock suspension temporarily and it made the car feel horrible. Good for launches though.

Go with a Hicas eliminator kit if you can. The lock bar can still develop a bit of play i believe. 1.5/2 way allows you to transmit equal torque between both rear wheels and will give you a lot more traction. Makes the car more predictable aswell. Google is your friend.

Thanks Leroy i'll take them into consideration. I'm assuming i can, but can i use an r33 r200 abs open diff to put the 2 way centre in? Are the open diffs still 4.11 ratio and are the internal components the same strength as the gtst Vlsd?

Aftermarket coilovers are illegal so most people will keep their stock suspension just in case they need to get a roadworthy certificate. Even so, most sets of stock suspension will be flogged due to age. My friend has bilstein (either b6 or b8) shocks and whiteline lowered springs in his R33 gtst. Super comfortable and excellent handling with not much body roll. And they are also legal. I would try to get something like this if i were you.

I'm after a good place to get a Nismo gt pro 2 way centre installed in my r33gtst diff. Will be removing the diff from the car first to make it easier and reduce labour cost. Willing to travel for reputable places, i just want the job done properly. Any recommendations?

Ok so the problem is likely the actual ABS module itself? Could it be anything else?

Cheers guys, i thought it may have been the power FC, i assumed the ecu might control ABS.

Hi Just wondering if the power fc does this or what could cause ABS not to work? Last night i braked hard and the front wheels locked up and slid. I had to swap my cluster the other day and i noticed that the abs bulb had been removed on the original cluster. So when i put the new cluster in the abs light stayed on. I've had the power fc for over a year and have never braked hard enough to lock the wheels prior to last night.

From memory i think he said he was doing about 120 in an 80 zone coming off the freeway. They only fined him for going 10km+ over the limit so was willing to pay the fine.

I've seen police in kia carnivals before, these didn't even have antennas and were older models. Seen them in the city and melbourne western suburbs. One guy at work got a speeding ticket from them, i don't think they have detectors but they estimated his speed.

Just use the instructors car. Having an R34 with a loud exhaust won't make a good impression.

So does this reduce noise and drone under light load but retain noise when you put your foot down?

My front guards have been rolled for a while now and i have simply used heavy duty tape to fill in the gap between the guard and the liner. I'm looking for a more permanent solution as the tape starts to peel and doesn't look good in the wheelarch. Does anyone have a better method of solving this issue?

Sonicz why don't you message the seller on ebay and ask them if you are supposed to run a restrictor or not?

Thanks TiTAN, i already resoldered all the connections but to no avail, the tacho is mostly dead then has random spasms every now and then. The odometer has now stopped working aswell. Will just get a replacement cluster when i can.

What's your goal with the ebay turbo? Do you just want a replacement for the stock one or do you want more power aswell? If the latter then you'll find you will end up spending a fair bit on supporting mods at which point you may as well ditch the ebay turbo and get a hypergear hiflow or something. If you were happy with the stock turbo then it would be easier just to wait for one in good condition to come up for sale, i think i have even seen a few on the forum lately for around $150. I sold my stock turbo in great condition with only a small amount of shaft play for $140 (i regret it).

May sound like a silly question but the tachometer in my r33 gtst manual cluster doesn't work anymore however the speedo and other guages work fine. Would this definitely not pass a roadworthy? Need to get one to clear a defect (too low).

Good to hear it was found, i remember seeing this at downshift. Hopefully they didn't do any other damage.
