Is it possible to use an intercooler (stock off S13 or so?) as an oil cooler? with the ends closed off and have fittings taped into the ends? Would it be too big? wouldn't be efficient? Just a pass thought

the emange is a interceptor type ECU, tuning is done via a laptop which is linked with what seems to be a 9pin serial <-> USB cable. software is not bundled with the unit and needs to be purchased seperately. 16 x 16 (load vs RPM) in the basic package, much like a SAFC except this is load vs RPM. Easy/Hard to tune? Dude that depends how competent YOUR tuner is... What else do you need to know?

I must've got a honest cop. No fines, just defect notice. He knew his stuff though, looked @ tyre specs plaque inside the door and checked tyres. Defect for air filter and exhaust too noisy. He even said I just need the filter covered/boxed. There are some good cops out there...just wish they'd focus more on catching the crims doing number jobs on cars

There's no hard and fast rule...of course if you're trying to impress a chick pulling of a original stunt increases your chances :lol: If she's your gf I'm sure she'll just appreciate the effort nomatter where it is

Hey that sucks....did you know there is NOTHING in writing by the RTA or ADR about pod filters being illegal. Maybe you can fight that fine on this count?

sorry to hear about that Brendan. As suggested, agree to meet @ a well lit place. I usually choose a McDonalds that will be open....plenty of people and usually well lit carpark. I also bring a mate who is bigger than me as security Atleast insurance will cover it right?
