yo i bought a vertex kit of Avi fromg G Force a few weeks ago, it hasn't been fitted on the car yet. Delivery was quick, service was to the point. Now you guys got me worried. Do the kits not fit at all of do they just require alot of customising?

mine's definitely a girl i get to romp her from time to time but then she gets cut and i have to spend $$$$'s before i get to romp her again. only something female would behave like that lol

why don't u do this - get a dump pipe only for the rb20, get a front pipe for a VL....hang on f*k it....ure gonna have to go custom....lol cheers

only problem is length. flanges are the same but will the length of the dump/front in-one suit the shape of the VL's undercarriage?

mine is in the shop at the momeny after a pretty big accident. Its got a full vtx waiting to go on and the whole thing is gonna be straightened, rubbed back, pulled apart and resprayed in the facory colour. The windows will be taken out and all the seals replaced. I'm paying $8K for it to get done at a reputable workshop, but i don't mind paying it cos i know the work is going to be spot on. When it comes to big jobs like these, its worth paying the extra money to know that the job is going to be done exactly how u want it. I'll post pics for everyone to see when its done. cheers

i'm not one to bad mouth but i have heard of and had bad experiences with donnellans. They are a reputable shop and do know what they are doing, however they get their back up too quickly when asked to check over their work. nismoid - if ES86 had his balances checked at another store and they were way off - what other side is there to the story? There can't be a reasonable explanation for that no matter how u look at it.

lol funny enough u say that - my r32 is meggala's old 32 with the 12sec SR20 in it. He sold it to me 2 yrs back with an rb20 and since then I've dropped an rb25 into it. My goal is to run a low 12 hopefully with the stock turbo. I'll have a look on the site anyways....lol cheers mate

hey, reading your post with interest. Is it proven that 200rwkw rb25 in an r32 is a 12 sec pass? Have u done it and if yes wat sort of supporting mods did u have? And back to the point - rb25 in an r32 best to do both engine and gearbox. R32 gearbox can handle up to 250rwkw, but is not as sollid as the rb25 box. You'll notice how much better the rb25 box feels. May as well do both to avoid further costs. Modifications required will be gearbox mounts, tailshaft and yoke. The rb25 box is longer than the rb20 so all the adjustments need to be made. Also, run the rb25 ECU with it. Hope this helps, cheers

on the topic, whats the weight difference between an rb20 and rb25? Would having one in a 32 make a huge difference to the weight distribution of the car?
