hello folks. i have had this car advertised on carsales for a while but no luck. i am asking 18k or closed offer, here are the specs... 96 rs4v silver. 100400 k's rb25det 3" turbo back exhaust with high flow cat hybrid front mount intercooler manual boost controler and autometer gauge (10psi) lockable thule 'aero' roof racks. $250. the car has 4 small problems that i know about, side mirror fold-in motors are just about had it. small amount of rust showing under the side door mirrors. (apparently common, see pics) minor scrape on rear left wheel arch (see pic) a few areas of paint are scratched (not badly, see pics) this car has been serviced regulary by tibrooks in adelaide and also r&g autos. the 100 thousand kilometer service has been done and timing belt replaced. i am the first australian owner and have had the car for 2 years. i paid just under 23 grand and have spend close to 3 grand on the mods, which have been proffesionally completed at exhaust technology in adelaide. yeah, the washer bottle does the front and back. its also got 2 motors on it. the one that i had put in is from a s15 i think and only has one pump. so when i squirt the water i wash the front and back at the same time!! its actually pretty cool. my stagea is silver. (and for sale, and in ADELAIDE yep, the r33 kits do the job perfectly, they come with instructions for those who are techinally minded. also you have to trim the radiator fan, i forgot that bit, its in the instructions...

i had 'exhaust tech' in adelaide install the front mount. they used a rb25det kit (r32, 33 i think). the front bar needed to be modified a bit, nothing too serious, just a trim. the cooler fits perfectly you can hardly even notice it. the pipe work required one hole to be cut in the body and the window washer bottle was replaced (too big). sorry i cant really give a step by step guide as i had this item proffesionally installed. i did watch the whole process so i may be able to answer specific questions. cheers, doug. ps, this car will be advertised on carsales.com soon and also local adelaide papers.

I have a Black R32 (i think) GTR intercooler. it comes with the stock pipe work and rubber fittings. it is in very good condition, bar a small dent on the bottom which does not impact on the airflow whatsoever. $650 ono plus shipping cheers, doug. i also have a stock stagea intercooler and airbox if anybody is intersted. call 0403018501

hello, just a random piece of information for those interested in fuel economy... with 10 psi, plus 3" exhaust, i average 12 lt /100. with exhaust plus intercooler & 12psi, i average 14 lt /100. that is a combination of city and country driving. so just incase anyone was wondering if a front mount cooler will assist in fuel economy, you are PROBABLY mistaken. *it might have a bit to do with the increased power and driving variation (pre and post intercooler), but it is probably safe to say that a front mount definately will not improve the fuel economy.

yep, i'd be pretty keen to find out how much people had spent on this conversion. anyone?? maybe it would be cheaper to sell my series 1 and purchase a series 2 manual??
