Look for an abs plug coming out of the side, about 25cm long with a plug on end

I thought wheel alignment; i had similar issue with my r32; only person who fixed it was a guy who does wheel alignments by eye, standing in pit under the car etc.......i also wasted money trying to do it electronically.. could it be a buckled rim???
