  1. Hi, Thinking of selling my Personalised Plates. Just after some input regarding value. QLD plates, slimline front, standard rear. Rego no. 33HKS Black plates with silver lettering. Cheers Gary
  2. Hi Guys, Just wondering if you can help me locate parts for a set of Panasport wheels that were on my R33? The wheels are C5C-R model and i am missing one of the covers for the wheel nuts and the screw on centre piece that holds it on. I have attached pictures of the parts. Part A has the following model/part number molded into the inside of it: W85H10 Part B has an outside diameter of approx 148mm and the hole in the centre has a diameter of approx 77mm. Panasport have a website but no e-mail to contact them. I found the following website has a fair few panasport wheels listed but it is in japanese which i cant read. http://www.naisnet.co.jp/ Any assistance you could give me would be most appreciated. Gary
  3. Bugger, i just did a 1200 km round trip doing 90ish by the speedo thinking it would be reading low Oh well, got to see the scenery for a change
  4. Thanks for that, wasn't sure as i didn't know diameter of the 16s. Gary
  5. Hi, Just fitted some 18 inch wheels to my r33 and was wondering if someone out there could give me a rough idea how far out the speedo may read now? Also is there any way to adjust the speedo to read correctly? Wheels sizes are 18 x 9 with 265/35/18 tyres. Cheers Gary
  6. Hi, I have ordered a set of HR Racing HR 109s for my R33, just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with these wheels i.e. Fitment problems, bad offsets? Sizes are 18 x 8 front with 235s, 18 x 9 rear with 265s Ordered from Donnellans Any info would be greatly appreciated Cheers Gary
  7. Thanks heaps, They are exactly what i am after. Gary
  8. Hi, Can anyone tell me where i might find comic/cartoon style pics of skylines? Looking for one to print on a little shirt for my new nephew Cheers Gary
  9. Jayson, Did you get my PM or e-mail with my address details? Cheers Gary

  11. Liquid, I have just installed some gear into my r33 and while it would not suit the sound quality conscious it is nice, clear, loud enough for me and most importantly for some of us, inexpensive. I purchased a JVC 995 MP3 headunit new off e-bay for $400 (cheapest h/u i could find at the time that was MP3 compat and had 4v pre-outs and a controllable sub out) For the doors i purchased a set of Kenwood 16cm 2-ways $115 Rear (not necessary but i thought, what the heck) i have Pioneer 16cm 2-ways approx $100 Sub, Clarion 12" dual voice coil package deal in enclosure from Autobarn $249 I am driving the sub off an old but faithful Alpine amp that i have had for some time so saved a bit of money there. So thats a total of $865 if you were to find a nice reasonably priced amp (jaycar maybe) for the sub you wouldn't be too far over your budget. I am sure if you shopped hard you could find all the above cheaper. As i said above, not perfect sound, not competition quality but makes plenty of noise and not distorted. Oh yeah, the above speakers all went straight into the factory mounts. Hope this helps Gary
  12. Not 100 percent sure here guys but i was of the impression that two of the reasons we all love skylines is that they actually stop and handle nicely. I thought the Q45 was a good idea,(good power, reasonable weight) but surely there would be much more expense involved in the brake and suspension set up if you were to throw a chev in the engine bay. Unless of course you only want to go straight. One other thought i had was that, I for one have moved from Fords/Chevys to imports because of the more advanced design and reliability of the japanese motors and management systems. My opinion : Go hard with the jap v8s forget about the others, they suit the Falcadores better. Now thats off my chest i can go to work Cheers Gary
  13. Thanks guys, i had sorta been leaning towards ebc. now to decide between e-boost and avc-r gary
  14. Hi all, When my car arrives i plan at some point to increase the boost I am wondering what would be my best plan of attack. Noting that i wish to have very good control over the boost while i am still running stock turbo. As usual, cost restrictions are in place but i will stretch my funds for the right setup. 1: Buy boost guage and a simple boost controller e.g. turbosmart bleed valve or 2 stage controller 2: Buy AVC-r or similar boost controller and use it as both controller and guage. I know its up to me in the end, i am just after a few opinions to guide my choice. Any help would be greatly appreciated Gary
  15. Hi Zymotic, how come you gotta wait till end of september, i thought the workshop was up and running now? Gary
