  1. You guys wouldn't happen to know the oil drain size of that hole we use for drain would you? or more so if it's npt or bspt since the thread angles are slightly different and the oil feed line is using bspt, so I'm guessing the drain plug is 3/4 bspt like the fittings banana bought?
  2. Another question on how the cars running aleks, does the nistune chipped ecu let you use the TIPTRONIC controls still? or have you strictly been using it only in auto? I would be a little sad to see some downshifting exhaust popping going away haha.
  3. Where as running the single entry pipe in I'm not sure what aleks did to get it to run, but that would definitely be alot easier for coil and spark maintenance.
  4. Photo with the two intakes is NEO NA on top and RB25DET from an R33 on bottom. The second photo with the gasket is the det gasket over the neo. Looks like it lines up pretty well for every bolt, but that's pretty much all I've got from searching around.
  5. Ah I mean to say I want to finish this job over 4 days when it comes to doing it, will be a bit before I gather all the parts needed. Looking to get around the 210kw range or so and currently only have Injectors, oil feed tee, walboro pump, and exhaust manifold. So still missing the ecu, turbo, turbo lines, intercooler, piping, and a well lit garage. I will be keeping the twin intake, fair bit of custom tubing to be fabbed or bought. The exhaust piping I will be getting customed as well from a local shop who specialize in exhausts and have excellent warranties against damages. As for the tune I'd like to even get it to just run our basic 94 pump gas before hitting up e85 as that's scarce beyond scarce here. I've done some maintenance on the engine before so taking it apart isn't my first time so I'm hoping that helps to keep everything within the 4 day time span.
  6. Most shops rang here said to go nistune route since it's the most friendly to piggy back vs the other option of emanage of which they completely told me don't do because they don't like it. My timing when I baseline dynoed it, was said to have been retarded already to compensate for lower octane fuel in North America, so I'm not even sure if I'd have to adjust that too far if at all to get it to a shop. Thanks for the replies, definitely need to prep for this as much as possible since I would need to finish this in about 4 days time so planning everything is a must.
  7. Would be too easy if that were possible, I live in Canada where my 98 skyline has only been legal for about 3 years. I'd have to likely find the ecu and solder myself then take to a shop to get them to dyno it.
  8. I see, another question regarding the ecu. So you got the gtt ecu, nistuned it and then you got the shop to wire up to the existing 25gt loom? Or did you also bring in a gtt loom to mate to the gtt ecu, replacing both the stock gt ecu and loom.
  9. Just wondering what were the dimensions of the FMIC that you grabbed? and did you have to do any reo bar cutting?
  10. I'll snap a pic in the morning with the wheel off! Still have to bleed brakes again properly and yeah that's what I thought too, those rims are the gtt stock rims at 17x7.5 as well.
  11. The g35 calipers were also prepped, painted high temp black and clear gloss coat on top. Gonna contrast the rotors really nice later on behind some black rims
  12. So the pictures attached are the before and after of the G35 brakes install. I didn't realize it but the bolts on my skyline were identical to the ones that the g35 came with. The digital caliper I used to measure the bolt diameter at the threads were identical. 13.7~mm for both bolts. No drilling needed even though I'm fairly certain that the brakes are m12x1.25 bolts for the r34 25gt same as r33 gtst etc. Definitely fills up the wheel a lot more and the space between caliper and wheels are greatly reduced as the disk is a 320mm/12.58inch disk vs the 280mm disk on the NA skyline.
  13. Oh snap you wouldn't happen to know how much for those sleeves would you? By far the drilling out of the hubs does set the car up easier for m14 Brembos and what not in the future when I add more power, but the sleeves right now would be great to guarantee a dead level fit.
  14. I thought about the helicoils, unsure if the bolt hole for m14 bolts is too large for an m12x1.25 helicoil (12.3mm for m12x1.25 helicoil and the m14x1.25 bolt hole is already 12.8? Or so not sure) Will have to look into it for sure since can't really reverse drilled hubs easily.
  15. Just going to continue this thread into a build log with how things have progressed and if they fit etc. The calipers themselves have arrived and are very similar in sizing to the stock 2 pot sumitomo in the R34 25gt bolt patterns are identical but pads seem quite a bit larger than the R34 ones. Waiting on rotors to come in to do complete mock up before drilling out the holes to 14 to fit the new caliper bolts.
  16. Canada postage for the turbo timer?
  17. You wouldn't happen to have injectors for gtt?
  18. i see, for the most part im purely trying to get a grasp of how they would fit from a reference point of this thread, http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=560515 which shows the guy had done the swap from the g35 onto an s13. As stated in the article himself the bolt patterns are the same but the rotors themselves would need replacing to match the g35 along with potentially cutting some of the caliper mounting bolts for clearance issues. Thanks for any more information though!
  19. G35 front calipers onto R34 25gt Essentially the title says it all, have people done this conversion on a skyline before? I've mainly seen it done on Silvias to great success since they either swap in gtst or brembos from skylines anyways. I would assume the swap onto an N/A r34 would be identical to gtt swap just needing the uprights drilled to14mm. Would be a decent upgrade from the 280x26mm rotor to a 320x28 from the g35. Biggest reason behind this route is that I'm located in Canada and sources parts for skylines is quite difficult quickly so I decided to try and swap it to a domestic vehicle with plenty of stock for less headaches. Thanks for any one with more info on this setup!
  20. Best option to see would be to test fit your wheels onto a mates gtt and see if they will fit, would be best and most sure fire solution.
  21. What size are those? For the most part it should be okay but the X factor of the wheels could change how bigger calipers and rotors(even tho they are only 16mm larger) would fit. Keep in mind you'll have to drill out the uprights on the mounting points since the calipers on Gtt are 14mm vs 12mm on the gt.
  22. Thanks for some more incite into the conversion, I understand that your tuners have said only the gtt ecu chipped would work but doesn't a greedy emanage piggy back also work? I've seen 3 other members at least have it straight piggy backed from the Na gt ecu and they are running 200~rwkw.
  23. Sweet, I was looking into doing this myself as I've heard and read lots if good things about +T conversions. Any pictures going up? Also how long was your car in the garage for? Sorry for asking so many questions as I'm located in North America and parts are definitely not easy to come by plus taking time off work, thanks in advance man!
