you can get a good FMIC from UAS, there is a sticky (i think) in the NSW section.... and btw... im not sure how you get 80kms out of first! i sure cant.. but thats just me, i dont like to bash the rev limiter too much.

nismoman.. ive seen 5% tint. a friend of mine had it on his car.. looks sweet!! but you have to roll the window down when your driving at night hehehe... im happy with my tint. they did i good job and the film they used actually looks quite dark...

i got mine done at Express Tinting in milton for $220, they quoted $240 to start, but i told them i had a better quote (which i did) and they matched it. Darkest legal, lifetime warranty, wont bubble or fade (apparently)

does anyone know where i might get a double din Addzest HU looked at in Brisbane or AUS? It only playing a very small percent of my CDs... it just spits them out and says error 6, or on occastion error 3. Very annoying. Any suggestions ? Cheers

Ok, just rang the DOT, and as per Motox's post they are legal. as long as they still comply with EPA standards etc and are not louder than 90db. They gave me the number of a guy who was supposed to be able to test my car for noise. He indicated that for my car the test they would do is a drive by. The car needs to be at specific revs, in a specific gear and the valve has to blow at the exact time that it passes the meter... he didnt seem too keen test my car and commented that the cops were going overboard with defecting cars, and that the cost would be prohibitive ($500) (i think the DOT had given out his home number a few too many times.to spite that he was very helpful tho.) He is faxing me the diagram and instructions for testing on monday, but said i would probably have to have it done by someone 'registered' if it were to have any amount of legal standing. So as far as i can tell, they are legal, as long as EPA and noise requirments are met. How you can prove it is another matter. Thanks for your input everyone. Cheers Hayden

thanks erin... did you cop a fine for the defect or is it just a notice to remove the 'whistle'. there seems to be a lot of debate as to what is and isnt legal.. at this point more ppl seem to think that they are illegal... in saying that i personally hope motox is right... im just trying to find out so that im not voiding my insurance...

stops better than your old r33 eh re he heeeeally... i dunno... but since i can vouch of the quality of your cars as i now own said r33 im sure this car wont dissapoint! its just too bad im too tall for a soarer.. oh and i love the line too much free bump!
