O btw I took a new 6 spd 3.2 ltr ranger for a spin very nice car for the price would make a nice rig.

I have a vy ss crewman auto I love it. Def no v10 towrag but I drive it about 100 kms per day mon to fri and have put about 10 k kms on it towing my r33 and gets about 12-14 Ltrs/100 kms towing and 11-12 Ltrs around town. Also has a baby seat in the back for the young fella. I like it as it meets all my needs and price range, if I was buying one now get the latest model you can I think it is a vz thunder they are 6 ltr and better hand brake set up as mine is rubbish and needs a lot of maintenance. Dry sump, up graded brakes, ohlins suspension, aftermarket handling parts, looks like it will be a nice ride.

Why can't the chassis be regoed? Was it imported that way or was it a repairable write off. May be keen on the rolling chassis pm me if you like

No it is very common to have 5th and rev play up first on many boxes as it is the furtest from the centre plate. There are a few online stores you can get the redline oil from cheap per quart.
