  3. Long long time since updates but here i go. I finished machining up the solid subframe bushes and i cut some spacers out of alloy with the water jet so i could adjust the rear end a bit more, not that i know what i am doing i just like to have options hehe. I got the subframe to mount hard onto the chassis then i could adjust from there with the 3mm, 6mm and 12mm spacers. I also made some large steel washers for the bushes, the C spacers allowed very quick and easy adjustment of the rear end. I also fitted the new rear L/H shock and dynoed the R/H to make sure it was all ok. While i was back there i fitted some new RDA slotted rotors, these are dirt cheap and work a treat great for us budget racers. i also fitted some Tein solid top mounts to the front shocks as the factory rubber ones were cracked. With these small improvements i hit Wakie up again on the 26/06/11 i ran the regularity event with the MRA crew it was a great day and highly recommend it. It was the first time i had been on the track with 24 others at the same time, gee wiz it was crowded but i learnt heaps. I still managed a few 10's with traffic so i was very happy. I took the car to get its log book inspection on the weekend and it passed with flying colors woohoo now i just need to submit the paperwork and it is officially a SS blocker. So the car is back in the shed and i am planing my next changes, i am still running all factory arms on the suspension so i only have about a max camber of neg 2.7 on the front so i will be playing with arms and alignment to see what i can get out of it with std mounting points and losing some weight. I am very happy where i am with all factory arms etc and fairly mild power for a track turbo car these days. Thanks for reading and i will post up more pics when i decide what to do next. Cheers,
  4. yep yep all good woohoo. now just weighing up engine options as i want to stay aligned with the regs so it is an official legal SS blocker hehe thanks for the info.
  5. Good stuff, looks like a good day. Which car is this Jenna's? Or another?
  6. Yer never thought of that dam Thanks for the help
  7. Cool so you can run up to a 3500cc forced induction multi valve engine which would a resultant capacity of 5950cc.
  8. Hey all I read some contradicting information yesterday the cams manual (book) for 3D stated that the maximum engine capacity for a turbo multi valve engine was 2520cc but the online specs state 3529cc and do not mention anything about a different spec for multi valve engines. Have the specs changed? Also there is a multiplication factor for multi valve engines (1.3) and the 1.7 for forced induction. Have cams removed the multi valve engine bit for sports sedans? Or do you still have to do the 1.3 x cc x 1.7 and it is not on the online specs. Cheers, Ryan
  9. Farken team orders bull shit
  10. Maybe Ricardo will take out SV for webber? Aussie Aussie aussie
  11. Did webber get wheel spin WTF happened arr
  12. I run my bov very close to the throttle body and I get my boost pressure line from post throttle body. Maybe the spring in the bov is just not strong enough to snap the valve shut when between gears as the bov was from a car that only ran STD 9 psi or so? Maybe try a rb20 or gtr bov ??? Don't know. What type if bov does an Evo run, they run mega boost STD.
  13. How much boost are you running? I run a v port bov wound in hard for my track car and works great. I have an r33 on 14 psi.
  14. Where is it located?
  15. A friend fitted one in his s15 and it rocks you can't even see the wires, very nice product.

  17. Looks sweet
  18. Looks good Matt it will be v cool when done.
  19. So confused arrr I will have to do some measuring and reading I think. I first thought to solid mt the sub frame and lower the rear suspension by 5 mm. Don't you put the subrame spacers at the front when you want more traction?
  20. I thought by solid mounting the sub frame to the chassis would give better traction? and the lower roll centre would assist with handling?
  21. I think it is a 1"1/16 ? the bias is great the prob with the GTR master is the proportion is out for a GTST F/R weights etc.
  22. Nup same booster
