Well i made a new set of drivers side seat rails again today and i am still not happy with them. The first design was custom adj sides mounted to the factory bolt holes, due to the seat having a large lip on the lower front edge i could not get it to side far enough back for me (too tall). The next one was straight to the floor pan of the car this gave me good height and allowed the seat to slide back heaps but cause the slide sits next to the seat i could not get the seat dead centre with the steering column (10 mm to the right GRRRRR). So it is back to the drawing board, i am thinking about some square rhs with three nutsert threads in it and three sets of holes in the seat mts to allow some movement back and forth (No adj slides). My only problem is the nutsert threads are only M6, i am a bit worried about there strength. If anyone has some good pics of their mounts or some ideas that would be very helpful. Cheers.

Very nice car Levani, i have been looking for a fiberglass R33 bonnet with the R34 GTR V Spec vents in it for a while i love that look. Did you get it internationally?

Small update, I ordered a new Radiator off the SAU group buy Group buy link it should show up next week woohoo. I also ordered some new genuine nissan radiator hoses and a Greddy coolant temp adapter do dar. So i might finish off the engine next weekend, all i need now for the engine bay is a cheap oil cooler for the power steering. I also ordered a set of the Adj lower control arms for the front so that should finish off the handling side for now also. I made a new steering wheel boss as the HKB one didn't suit me, so if any one wants a new genuine HKB boss for a Hicas, airbag R33 GTST i have one that i am willing to part with. So fingers crossed i finish welding the drivers seat in and paint the inside next weekend.

Where are you located?

You will get knocked back at some events if you use the rear seat mounts i know this because Chubbs and i used to have to bluff our way through some times. Just get a bar made up, cheap as chips if you consider the amount of money and time you put into the car to get to some events to be just turned away due to some harness mounts would be very disheartening.

Nice work Noddy, Next time my engine comes out i will attack the engine bay more i think but yours looks nice and access able. There is a SAU day a Wakie coming up soon check out the NSW section for more info closer to the date but i will let you know either way. hehe at least your dash bar does not hit your std cluster, that works out to become an expensive exercise. Looks good, are you going to paint the inside of the car?

Nar the old engine just went back in with a few extra bits i want to try before i build a new one.

Another small update, the engine is all wired up and oil lines, boost, fuel, w/gate is all plumbed up. I hand to modify the oil supply hose to the steer rack as it fouled on the sump. It is all good now with new brackets, all i need to do now is make a new oil return hose as the std one has no chance of fitting. I think i am going to run a cheap oil cooler on the return side any ways so it wont be too big a deal. Also fitted some new bushes to the front of the diff and fitted the tail shaft. It is getting there slowly.

Hey Noddy, Did you raise the steer rack to keep it parallel with the LCA's? I love suspension geometry but i wish i understood half of it, there is so so much stuff to think about.

MMMMMMM love the pics thanks. What do you think about JP's caster to cross member brace idea? I am thinking about running one, But i would really like something more structural, but i can not picture it yet.

Well a small up date the engine and gearbox are back in with the new clutch and one of JP's clutch lines all on new nismo mounts. I had the engine in and out three fing times till i got the sump to clear the LH mount and the fitting on the back of the head to clear the fire wall, but it is all good now. Most of the engine is wired up just need to sort out he exh side and re fit the intake piping ect. I also powered up the dash the other day, so so cool. Not long now.
