I picked up my clutch today form its little overhaul. I am still retaining the 5 puk button clutch arrangement but went with a different clutch plate for increased strength and a different button material. I got carbonic buttons fitted instead of the ceramic ones and a larger and stronger centre out of a 4.2TD patrol. There was nothing wrong with the old one but its limit is around the 300rwkw mark so instead of killing it i went for a new stronger one to last the distance. My new one is the bottom plate. Also to get some more clamping force we changed the pivot point in the pressure plate and also added another tab on each point to give it some more strength. This is still the same pressure plate that i have been using the last 3 years, just tweaked up and skimmed. Hope you like and i will add more pics as more stuff happens.

Well just a quick up date the car has been delivered to Brads to get the cage sorted so hopefully i will have it back in a few weeks to finish painting the inside then it will be full steam ahead re assembling. I will try and up date some picks along the way.

No bog in my car buddy. He used a poly urethane glue stuff that will give a little i think, you can't weld them completely cause it will deform the entire roof i think. It has been spot welded at a ratio of one spot per inch, Then the poly urethane glue stuff does the rest i think ??? Time will tell if it cracks or not? Fingers crossed it is all sweet.

Just a quick update, i picked up the car from the smash repairers today and i am very happy with the job. All the holes in the roof and the rust has been repaired and it is ready to be fitted out with the cage, so excited. Outside Inside

Not yet Jay but the Balancer has all the provisions to bolt on the oil pump drive when i do. Do you run this balancer on the GTR?

Just purchased a Ross Race Series Balancer for the RB25 with 10% under drive on the W/P and 20% on the power steer. Great price and very easy to deal with. Ross Performance Parts
