I went straight to the external gate version but a few members on hear have had the internals and had a few issues, PM badhairdave he might talk you through his experiences. Good turbo though.

You will have boost control problems with the tenie tiny internal gate. Get a 0.63 turbine hsg and a TiAL 38mm external gate and you will love it for the street or if you plan on a engine rebuild later on and more power and maybe track time go the 0.82.

The price seams ok for such an extensive build, a lot of mechanics under quote by accident it is just a fact of life. I should know cause our company also does it from time to time. Maybe just go down and talk to him face to face calmly explaining that you are upset that you were told that your existing parts would support your requested power level. And would like to know if he could help you out with a retune if you source some other parts. Just get a Nismo adj FPR and a new fuel pump and maybe source a second Z32 AFM and run a twin afm intake and just be happy with what power you get then, which I am sure will be enough to scare the living crap out of you anyways. These parts should come in under $1500.00. Good luck mate.

Why buy a cheap 8-10K skyline when you can get a modded one for 5 k more when you are just going to mod it anyways? The brakes and suspension alone are worth more than the extra 5 K anyways lol.

I might be keen for the rear diff and front camber arms. Maybe the roll cage??? is it a kit roll cage or did you fabricate it? Cheers, Ryan

Well i look at it this way, oil pumps have been failing so until engines stop popping or they pop with intact pumps why not make them bigger and stronger then see if it breaks? Then get into cavitation, vibrations and oil flow issues then? I am no genius but wouldn’t you just try and stop the bits that are breaking breaking. hhhhmmm. Are the drive gears the main part that have been failing? Or maybe the crank is heating up and expanding at a different rate to the gear so the clearance is too tight at temp between the gear and the crank so the crank splits the gear?? Too much night shift must sleep. zzzzzzzzzzzzz
