Has anyone trying machining a spline on the crank and getting a billet gear made with a internal spline? That would be much stronger than the square drive at the moment and with no sudden change in direction like the inside of the gear now there will be only very minimal stress raisers.
We get tricky stuff like that made up regularly at work might be worth a try if anyone wants to donate a damaged crank to trial on????
The car is still regoed till July 09, If it does not sell before then i will most likely pull it from the market. So if your even at all interested speak up now.
