  1. Good purchase buddy. It looks very clean, very keen to see it out and about. Nice shed Michael.
  2. Sorry dude nice car but no thanks. I have always been interested in those but i am really after a dedicated track car or ute. If i can not sell it i will just have to go to town on my car. Cheers.
  3. Hey dave you are not wrong mate most don't, But some newer DI models mainly the euro and California spec ones do have a throttle body but it is not used as the throttle as you above mentioned. It is only there to control black smoke and emissions etc. Our large diesel engines don't even run wastegates, They only boost up to how much fuel you give it and how much load is on the engine.
  4. Most diesel engines do not have a throttle body and there will always be a valve open some where for the air to go so back pressure will not build up like a petrol engine. Saying that i have a 3ltr turbo diesel rodeo and it has a throttle body and did sometimes make a tiny little noise when it was new.
  5. Sorry Jade it is all over for that engine. Time to take it to a good quality workshop to get a better answer and to complete some more testing but i would say that you better start looking for another engine or getting that one re built.
  6. OMG Kel that looks so sore. Dam raceworx
  7. Do not set your suspension up so that your lowest point is 100mm off the ground, even with a large body kit this will be shit house for handling etc. Set your centre of wheel to bottom of guard distance to 350-360mm and then check your ground clearance this should leave you with at least 110-120mm clearance even on a big front bar. Good luck.
  8. Drove past beaches hotel on sat arvo and got a loud "Starions are gay" yell from the verandah. Newcastle is so cool it makes me laugh. PS. i was in my STAGEA. lol
