  2. I was thinking something sequential. Is yours still a H pattern? What ever you use it still takes nothing away from the car being nuts. Good work.
  3. Paul will you always be running the bell mouth on the turbo with no filter? Nice result. Will a power band of 3500 rpm be enough to get you down the quarter faster than before with out a super dooper gear box?
  4. I would say that maybe the boost controller is installed incorrectly. The air filter will give you 0 extra rwkw. The Exh depending on make and type of cat converter should give you about 150 - 160 rwkw with 10psi boost. I think std boost is 9psi and with a good dump pipe you might get about 10psi with std actuator and lines due to the better design. Things to check. 1. Exh for damage 2. Check that you do have a after market cat and that you do have a after market dump pipe 3. Check for boost leaks on the intercooler piping ( PM me if you don't know how to do this) 4. Check that the boost controller is hooked up correctly( you should have got a installation guide with the controller) 5. When was the last time the car had a full service plugs, oil, filters inc fuel etc? Good luck

  8. Hi all i am regretfully selling my beloved R33 GTST. I have owned the car for the last 5 years and has served me well. I have had a company car for the last 2 years so it has not done much street driving. I have taken it to a few track days and sprints etc and have had ball in it. I am now looking to purchase a track only car with a roll cage etc so i can do more events. I am looking to purchase a Datsun 1600 or similar with a N/A SR20 in it so i can compete with smaller budgeted cars. This car is my pride and joy and will be sadly missed but has to go so i can purchase my next car. The car is in a relatively tidy condition and has no damage and has had no repairs. It has 155K kilometers on it and i am the second owner in Australia, it has been here for almost 8 years and i still have some of the original paper work. It has been tuned for 0.9 bar and at 1 bar only to keep the engine nice and healthy. It has a very conservative tune and the set up could support more power with a 0.82 turbine hsg and a larger head gasket, or further internal mods. I will consider trades of track only cars similar to a Datsun 1600, 260Z or alike. I am also looking for a V8 auto ute to be my tow car so i will also consider trades for one of these. I am looking to get around 16K for it.   9. I dont know who Coz is but it is best to build them upside down.
  10. You have to use std RB25DET injector o-rings from nissan. The sards do not come with the correct o-rings. Good luck mate. If you are not sure make sure you get some one with a mechanical background to check you as side feeds can be very tricky.

  15. I don't really want to get another car that I have to do bucket loads of engine mods to make it competitive or I will end up with another car that is not eligible for any class. I have been thinking of maybe an evo 6 maybe with a std evo 9 turbo and std boost etc you can get decent power at the wheels and a good chassis and not bad weight, I will just have to look into diffs etc? I can not find any info on this MSA series, can anyone help out? No worries bud, It is all good info.

  18. I have one of these and they are a great family car/ young persons traveling car etc. we get around 10 - 11 ltrs per hundred kms around town driving sensibly and 9 - 10 ltrs per hundred on long trips. Great cars. It is also priced very well going off the pictures. Good luck with the sale.
  19. Yer i really just want more track time and the skyline will cost a fair bit more to get it tracking often, and i don't want to destroy a nice street car. I still only want to do sprints etc for the next while but it would be good to have a go a door to door racing one day when i am a bit more experienced and skill full. I will really miss the big girl we have been together for about 5 years now. The misses is trying to talk me into keeping it and still getting another but 4 cars and a trailer is a bit much for me, But the insurance company would love it ay. Nice car Noddy, I would really like to keep the GTST but i am a bit hesitant to strip out the interior and fit a cage etc. Once i have done this i will not be able to get it re regoed and there is no other class for it to race in other than sprints if i ever want to go further due to engine mods. What to do?
  21. Thanks a lot for all your input guys, i spent many hours at the pub last night with friends and i asked them what to do but i can not really remember the answer... It will be a sad day when/if my gtst goes so i am just wanting to make sure i make the correct decision. Maybe, but i mainly don't want to spend a heap of time and money fitting a cage and playing with the handling and so forth and then end up with a very cool car for sprints etc but can not be driven on the road ( full cage) and it would not be suitable for any other class of racing due to its modifications. When i went to sell it, it could not be sold as a road car or a car suitable to race in anything other than sprints and track days etc. I dont know if i will be skyline loyal or not. The GTRs in improved production seem to spend more time off the track than on? I really just want to get out there and have some fun doing sprints etc and maybe have a go in imp prod. I just want track time mainly, the skyline is fun you squeeze and you are off but i think i will have just as much fun in something else.
