4.5 ltr twin cam with a truck turbo and intercooler with a plazmaman style plenum and porsche brakes, it has 400 + rwkw. It had turn buckles to hold the gear box in. My partner was taking a deep breath every time it went past, 200 + km/hr down main straight.

Thanks Dave where did you mount that? It looks like it is on the body work? The problem with the Nissan front end is that the chassis rail is too far behind the front bumper, i have one of those sparco ones here and the only place where it actually will hang out the front of the car is off the reo and that will not be strong enough if i am stuck in the sand. . Beer Baron are you sure that i can use my factory tow point even if you have to look through the front bar to see it? I have plenty of those tow stickers to label the area. I would much rather use the factory one as it is very strong.

Hey I am having some issues with the tow hooks. My front one is concealed behind my front bumper how visible is everyone else’s? If I remove the front bumper which takes 2 minutes you can see it great. Will I have to mt an aftermarket one? There is not really any spots on the front of an R33 to mt a tow hook? Duncan you were mentioning about some wire rope extended to your front bumper, do you have any photos of this? Does the wire rope have to be load rated?

More the merrier, we will need all the support we can get. Hey Chris do you still have the toy you guys had in your carport at Wakie? If you stuck that to your roof I bet I would distract the other drivers a bit so we could overtake them, lol.
