so so keen to hit the track again, just finished fitting brembos to the line. just need tyres now, anyone keen to get rid of some 17's with semi's? i will hopfully be good to go early in the new year. can we plan a few track days for next year? at a few different tracks and maybe keep some kind of lap time records? don't know just thinking out loud. Hey mate these cars are a night mare under the bonnent, they have all sorts of valves and different hose and wiring configurations from the factory. It is the combination of the new exhaust and the CAI that is causing the car to hit fuel cut. You need to return the air box to std and monitor and controll the boost wich is hard because they have a VSV valve, and an electronic boost controller which limits boost in first gear so it is a bit more complicated then putting a bleed valve in the system to controll it. You are better off pissing off the std computer and getting either a "link" piggy back computer or a full stand alone computer like a "haltech" or somthing similar, this will eliminate all of your problems and give you a nice increase in power. Have you checked for spark and fuel? Did you check the fuel pump and its fuse? To check for spark pull one pulg out and put it back in the coil and earth it out on the cam cover then get someone to crank it over. Also check to see if your plugs are wet to make sure you have fuel. If you have all these and still no go check you timing, cam and ignition. Good luck.

mine has also done this, i just unplugged the controller and pulgged it back in and away she went. Good luck.

I have these at the moment, they are working a treat . You don’t really need any bigger unless you send a bucket load on the head. HKS cams are a billet cam direct from HKS, the tomei ones are re ground Nissan cams I think. Good luck
