Rb26 my r33 gtst or swap for gts4

A shop here in Canada has a few kits for Artec manifolds, looks interesting.
-
I know how that feels. I shipped my rb26 on a pallet last year with a new crank and all forged internals and it was lost for over a month and only half the stuff made it. The courier didn't even know who it was for when they found it, they called me because of my contact info on the crankshaft box's old shipping label. Ended up going on a 3000km road trip to get it back.
-
Hard to tell from those pictures but it could be triple square, anyone who works on German stuff would have a set.
-
Honestly though, current big single turbo setups in single or twin scroll with equal length manifold runners sound amazing.

It's just the YouTube clout people for the most part, I sure as hell wouldn't spend $3000 dollars on a journal bearing turbo.

R35 GTR servo and master cylinder conversion
Josh222 replied to McGarryR32's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I am pretty sure if you use one from a LHD r35 the ports are on right side vs on the left side for a RHD. Going by the service data the R35 uses a 1 1/8th master cylinder vs the R33/34 GTR BM57 1 1/16, so less pedal travel but more effort. I wonder how much of a difference there is in the booster diaphragm diameter. The R35 service manual says Primary: 230mm (9.06) Secondary: 205mm (8.07) does anyone have the service data for a R32-34 gtr booster? -
A bit of a zombie thread bump but I seen these turbos being shown by Spectrum Motorsports Solutions here in Canada and though they were interesting. How much of a difference will having anti surge housing make vs just standard housings

I know its not a 32 but you can get somewhat okay fuel economy in these cars.

R33 series 3 headlight conversion kit?
Josh222 replied to Fredrik's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Those Coplus lights look great. I'd be in for a set for the R33 if they ever made some. -
I see people listing them on the likes of Ebay for $2500-4000USD but realistically what are people actually paying for them these days. I am considering going with a digital dash and would sell my current one that has 49,xxx km on it.

Anyone have any experience or info on one of these kits, was mostly curious.

Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
Josh222 replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
A little off topic here but this seems like the best place to ask, how would response be on an Airwerks turbo in twin scroll on a built 2.6L. Something like a S362SXE compared to the -5s on sitting on my shelf. -
My car has this sticker on the side window for this alarm system. Does anyone know where I can find any info on it? I haven't gone looking under the dash for a module yet but if I do find it would anyone know where I could find a key fob.

I just tore apart my engine and I am curious if it's something someone slapped together with whatever they had or actually N1. It has 24U block with all cast internals.

R32 GTR Rear Strut replacement
Josh222 replied to Jjtxaz24's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
My friends 33 gtr came off the boat with a set of tein coilovers and if you told me it had some 4x4 fence post cut to size and stuck in there to hold the car up I would have believed it. The ride was so stiff you would lift out of the seat if you hit a dip in the road, after an afternoon out you were sore. I took them off the car and installed a different set a year or two ago but I can'r remember the brand off the top of my head. Ive heard good thing about the fortune 500 coilovers with swift springs, built in the states so easy to get but I haven't had any first had experience. -

Cheap coilovers ride terrible, they ruin a perfectly good car. -

I thought mine was fairly clean until it was outside one day and it got hit by some debris when we had a day with 120km/h wind gusts?- 56 replies

I was taking apart the ecu from my R33 getting ready to put the Link G4 in when I found it has been socketed. Would anyone know anything about it? It was running a N1 engine if it matters, I only noticed that it has no speed limiter and 9000rpm limit.

I used to drive a modded Subaru Outback turbo for a daily but now I drive over 1000km a week so I got myself the hand me down civic from my father when he bought a new one but then I got tired of fueling up twice a week so I bought a beat up tdi Jetta wagon that's coming up on 500k km but goes almost 1200km a tank. Now its to damn cold to work on the gtr, the engine needs to come out to get the shortblock rebuilt with some forged bits and new bearings. Then after that's all done I have a pair of -5 turbos and all the supporting bits to go on.

It's that time of year again, a brisk -25C and once you throw in the wind it feels like a nice -35C.

Out for a wash with a friend.

Could someone check BCNR33006861. Thanks, Josh.
