  11. ahhhh the point of the day, i dont have a speed limiter??? (she has been way past 180kph) Have I got this right, 278 rwkw RB25DET delta fin cooler 3" exhaust gt3037 @ 14psi 38mm external gate with screamer sub zero plenum injectors are stock as far as im aware afm is stock In a Silvia Ts = 118 mph I agree, it doesn’t add up. we both agree it dont add up 1. The TS should be 125 mph or so for that sort of power and weight. as stated i cant drive to save myself 2. The AFM will be reaching 5 volts at a bit less than 4,500 rpm (~220 rwkw). That leaves 3,000 rpm of only mapping via RPM points agreed 3. The standard ECU doesn’t like that sort of stuff at all 4. Someone put a SubZero plenum on and left the injectors standard, seems illogical to me i was offered the plenum for 200 bux and it retains the stock inlet runners and fuel rail thus the still standard injectors 5. The standard injectors flow 370 cc’s at standard pressure (36-38 psi). That’s 370 bhp, or ~215 rwkw. So 278 rwkw out of standard injectors at standard pressure is impossible. agreed 6. The A/F ratios being all over the place, particularly the richness ~4,200 rpm to 6,000 rpm, indicates larger than standard injectors are likely.thats a verry interesting point, what would be the easiest way to check this out 7. The reason why it is hard to drive down the ¼ is the non linear response from the engine due to the tune being all over the place My guesses, Z32 AFM, chipped/bent ECU and 500 cc injectors. Fix the tune and it will make a bit more max power (over 300 rwkw), a heap more average power (particularly in the all important 4 to 6,000rpm range) and it will be much faster and more consistent down the ¼. thats the kind of enthousiasm i like to hear
  12. yeah might pull the cover off this weekend and have a look to see if something funky has been done to it ok thats prolly a fair statement, any tuners on here care to have a look at the dyno graph i posted up and back that statement up?? its just that throwing a random comment out there like that dont carry much merrit unless you can back it up... now you could be right and you prolly are, but i have had it on the dyno, done the mph to back it up so if someone can come up with any sort of explanation why it could be otherwise, id really like to know?
  13. well i had a look at the computer and it didnt have any stickers or writing on it to indicate it had been played with, and no, no fuel reg. basicly the only thing the car has got it an rb25, delta fin cooler, full 3" exhaust, gt3037 @ 14psi with 38mm external gate with screamer and an old school sub zero plenum. the injectors are stock as far as im aware, the afm is stock, (series 2 engine if it makes a difference. ) but yeh, it does go well
  14. the car he is talkin about is mine... it a freak.... i mean i understand that a dyno is only a tuning tool and counts for verry little, but when it backed it up with a 118mph pass at the strip with limited traction til the end of third (i cant drive to save myself on a drag strip) i figured it cant have been far off the money
  15. hence the reason i went one. but yes anyhow. the people who dont like the microtech are usually the ones who have had no experience with them or have had a dodgie tune and think thats as good as they get.
  16. hi guysi have had a search and i cant find an ecu pinout for an rb25det, there are a few dodgie ones i have seen on the net but none of them are compete. has anyone got or does anyone know where i can get a full ecu pinout for a rb25 det r33 gtst computer thanks adam
  17. no matter dude, pfc for a s1 and s2 skyline rb25 are the same having said that another easy way to tell is have a look at the back of your spark plug cover and see if there is a lil alloy box with heat sinks on it, thats your ignitor module and is only on s1 engines, if its not there its a s2 which have the ignitors built into the coils themselves
  18. can be certain that it wasnt the wastegate making that sound.... as for the cars at jambo making that noise..... big compressor + heavy spring on bov = some reversion as for your normal run of the mill cars that still have a lil bit of reversion, as you said, bov is possible too tight

  20. take my word for it, it wasn't the wastegate that the fluttering noise was coming from.
  21. hi, i drive an rb25 silvia. mods s2 rb25 det garett gt3076 (ie.gt3037) .86 tial 38mm gate delta fin cooler turbo back exhaust plenum 14psi on stock computer, afm, injectors and reg with 12.2 afr's 277.9 RW-KW....... my car is a freak.
