Hey guys. Chasing a nice straight s13 Silvia though I need something specific. Needs to be an sr20 det engine Must NOT have a sunroof Must NOT have HUD Must be straight (Ie. Panels all the same color and not dinted. Can be manual or auto The less modified the better, not lookin to outlay a whole lot initially Cheers adam

I personally think it would work well. My only worry would be about the gas pressure and temp on that valve over a long period. Would hate to see it fatigue and lunch your turbo

ok so its back up for sale again. basicly not interested in swaps unless its a track orientated car im interested in. since it was last for sale it has had the whole pedders xa catalouge thrown at it. basicly that means new coil over fronts new pedders leaves new pedders rear dampners pedders front adjustable sway bar whiteline rear sway bar every rubber bush replaced with urethane bushes. basicly $3500 plus fitting's worth of gear which has completely transformed the way it drives. also have new factory seat skins to be fitted to the car upon sale as the drivers seat has a slight split in the seam where you slide in and out of the car which although repaired still isnt 100% chasing $30,000 slightly neg or swap plus cash with track orientated car (ie. evo 7+, s15... that kinda thing) cheers adam

has it got a built bottom end? i would assume it does to be supporting those numbers as a stock ba bottom end would either be a hand grenade or unlikely making that power. either way would be good to mention if the bottom end is built as it would interest alot of people.

Your gate is in pretty much the same spot as mine and pedros. It's going to be a boost signal issue dude, being that it controls boost well till a certain rpm them spikes. It's just a matter of finding out the event that is causing this loss of controlled feed to the gate. I realize you have tried a couple of boost signal points but what if it's not at simple as the location. What I'd be doing is strapping it down on the dyno again and putting a boost gauge between your signal point and your gate so you can see realtime what the airflow / pressure to the gate diaphragm is doing. That way you can rule out an issue with your boost source and start looking back at the gate location / turbo it's self.

it has worked on alot of cars and mine in particular. its very strange that is is not working on martys car but im afraid that it is not the gate setup and this new effort is going to be in vain. having said that we have all been putting our heads to it trying to figure out wtf it could be. but when you go as far as changing to not only another gate but a different brand all together aswell as trying a few different boost signal sources and hose size, we kinda dont know where to go from there

That turbo won't get close to 400 in a fit. And my advice is don't do things by halves at that power level. Build the engine properly with the best gear you can. Make sure you have a good exhaust manifold (china copy is gonna last about 5 seconds) and have it tuned by the best people available. Also can't see the stock rods holding 400kw. Possibly select a power goal that is more intune with your knowledge and abilities and also bank account balance or this will quickly end in tears

interesting car, just curious what rods your running as i couldnt see in the parts list and also is it a 5 speed box or 6 speed as there were no 5 speed getrag boxes in the s3, they only started in the 34 and are 6 speed. cheers adam
