When is the latest we can enter?

Hi mate, I've sent it back to NPC for a rebuild. I really liked it, twin plate, no rattle and super easy to drive. Pressure plates were stuck good, took forever to pry them apart, hope it can be fixed instead of needing replacement

Hey guys, My car is currently making 410awkw (on pump) with my RB28, os88 box and "ACE twin plate clutch" The clutch pressure plates have failed somehow and are getting stuck (took ages to pry then out) So I'm in need of a new clutch ASAP and would like suggestions please. Once the clutch is in, I'm going e85, turning up the boost and aiming for the 500awkw mark. I will certainly need a clutch to hand this. My car is set up for circuit and that's basically it sole purpose, street driven maybe once a fortnight and I may give it a run down the quarter so I'd like suggestions based on that please. I know nothing about clutches and there are so many and mixed reviews but usually on lower HP setups, so help with my power would be greatly appreciated

The car hasn't had a leak in 4 years, this all started since I changed the grade of oil to the thinner "supposedly correct" grade for the os88. The fact that it doesn't stall when selecting first when cold says it's ok when the oil is thicker. The new oil is thinner and perhaps when it warms up and thins out, it stalls when engaging first. Trying to work out whether the previous thicker oil was actually better or if something is wrong with my clutch. What could be wrong with the clutch for this to happen only when the car warms up and the act that it drives absolutely perfectly once I keep revs up and select 1st. I have no issue driving the car and selecting gears after that. Only 1st gear is the issue

Im very happy with everything else the shop did. In regards to the oil, we changed the grade and wondering if anyone has insight if this could be the cause. Thanks anyway

Hey guys, Really hoping someone has some insight for me. I recently had my R32 GTR serviced. Previously my os88 was running Os Giken LSD oil 80W-250 (I know, crazy thick). The previous owner had been using this in the box for 4 years and never had an issue, I also have not had an issue whilst owning it for the past 6 months. However after a few people's suggestions to use the "correct"oil...I changed it to the OS Giken Dogmeister oil 75W-140. Since then I have a significant oil leak from the box and every time I select 1st gear the car stalls. The shop told me they put 2.2L in it...I was previously told it only needs 1.8L and thought maybe it's been overfilled and spitting it out. I jacked it up and seems to be leaking from the breather hose but there's oil everywhere so it's hard to pin point. When the car is cold, I can select 1st gear, once it warms (the box) it will stall as soon as I engage 1st unless I keep the revs up and select it. Once I do this I can cycle through the gears and the car drives completely fine...until I come to a stop, select N then 1st again and it stalls (unless I keep revs up) Does anyone have an insight or idea what could be going on? I understand the clutch might not be engaging or have an issue but as I said, it all ran perfectly before the gearbox oil change, its baffled me???

Haha thanks. Well it drove home ok, i didn't let it come on boost. Going to get it looked at, praying nothing is wrong.

Who do you guys recommend for an honest Sydney tuner that deals with track cars? I've been told about the bloke up the coast but I'd like to know if there's anyone else local

Hey Nick, Thanks again for the pointers and help. Funny enough it went back to normal, no errors came back but then came the next issue. I was running 23psi that day but in my last session it was constantly spiking to 30psi. I noticed from the sound of the gates and the power increase. I backed off and brought it in. It made some funny noises momentarily and I drove it home. I'll need to get it looked at

Haha your the 3rd person to ask me. Maybe once I get used to it and lay down some times I'll be happy to go passenger once in awhile [emoji4]

Yes mate I know. That was my first time I've tracked the car and also first time on south circuit. I went to learn the car and have some fun. I definitely have alot of learning to do but I think I did ok for my first time, not the easiest car to learn on haha I got a 1:09, i know not very good, I think I'll run less boost next time and focus on track work. A few guys there were great support, I appreciated that!
