    Okay it's starting to make sense now. I'm not exactly sure what thermostat my mechanic used. I don't think it was oem. What thermostats are good to use?

    R_34, I have done a full service including the change of the thermostat water pump and coolant before it over heated. The water in my old radiator was pretty brown and dirty. Could that have also been a issue?

    R32 gtst over heat Hi all! Ive got a r32 gtst. I was driving on the free way and flawed it abit. My temp gauge it 'H' so I stopped. Had a look no leaks or anytbing. Cruised it home and was fine. Had a look at the oil and wasn't milky either. I've bought a radiator off a r32 gtr. Flushed it and re filled it with coolant. I let the car idle for 1 hr as I let the bubbles out. The temp didn't move at all from cold. I then took it for a drive and it rose just sbit over 'C'. Is this normal
