If really cold and left outside over night, I've had mine fail to start on first try. The smell of petrol could be a flood of left over fuel from cranking and failing to kick over. RE: the shudder - Do you have aftermarket wheels?

Pulled out both hubs to replace bearings only to find I need ball joints, cv boots & tie rod ends as well.... You would think Pedders would have picked up on this when they did their inspection and told me they crushed the ball joint when they put it in. Never going there again.

Finally got around to swapping out the suspension, bushes and ball joints. BC BR's are great for the money by the way. Haven't adjusted the height yet, sitting about 20mm too high in the front.... Or too low in the back, haven't decided yet. Want to check if I still scrape on speedbumps with the 3" nismo exhaust on, next project after buying a front pipe and dump. Also installed a turbosmart kompact BOV and HDI front mount over the weekend and took the shitty paint work off the grill, who paints a chrome panel without putting in some prep work, really? I think it looks mint! Although I had to ditch the Cibbies from the front bar as they fouled on the piping Might have to find LED replacements. Gotta admit I do like seeing the piping through the holes though. Does anyone know the temp trigger for the condenser fan? I've tested that the fan works, but at idle I don't think my car gets hot enough to trigger it (~85C). Is there any way of testing it? I've been sitting in traffic and seen coolant temps of 94C but I can't just pop the bonnet and jump out to check haha.

Booked my NM35 in for bushes, ball joints and coil overs. Can't wait for the work to be finished, it's going to feel like a completely different car.

Not exactly the answer I was looking for haha. As I said, I have been reading the forums for an answer. In my search I found that having it on does actually help with engine temps as it helps direct the air that comes through the bumper. Keeping temps down a degree or two is always a bonus. Plus I like the added layer of protection it provides on our crappy roads.

NM35 undertray Hi all, I've had a search through the forums for any answer to this one and came up with a lot of discussion, but no topics made or final decisions. My undertray is pretty sad, I've been going through pages and pages on import monster, or looking through the classifieds for one that is in decent condition and close enough to me, but have come up empty handed. In my search through the forums I saw people talking about getting some made up out of Aluminium or modifying one from another model to suit. Was there any decision made about a custom tray being made up or how much do we need to trim off a G35 tray to make it fit?

What's the ride like on the XR's? Is the rear a separated system like factory?

Old thread, I know, didn't want to make another one considering it's been mentioned in here but I can't find a link to one. Does anyone have a diagram of all the suspension part numbers and bushes? I am going to be replacing basically all the rubber underneath and was hoping for a diag to help me in my search. Also does anyone know the P/Ns for diff mounts, etc? Thanks.
