Hey guys, I have hks coilovers in my car, one of the rear coilovers is knocking a bit, just wanted to know where i could either get them fixed or where i could get new pillow tops for it, they arent 2 way adjustable tops, and im not 100% sure on what model of coilover they are. silver shaft with purple adjustable spring seat. If anybody can tell how to check the models etc on them please let me know, that may be a big help. Cheers Darren

Hey guys did the hicas diagnostics on my car, Came up with (according to the thread in tutorial/DIY sect) 21. Vehicle speed sensor not present I saw a guy replaced one in his R32 behind the dash, but is this where the hicas would get its reading from? Is there another sensor somewhere the hicas reads? also where would i get one of these to replace it?, or how can if fix it (if its repairable) Cheers in advance 85URK

ok cheers. i guess cleaning afm could help if they are reading funny, also, check all other sensors and clean them up or replace. 02 sensor etc it might make a difference to milage over all.

Hey guys, I have recently purchased an R33 gtr, what kind of milage does anyone with close to stock expect out of the old girl? I have full 3" to cat from stock dumps and high flow 3" cat into 3.5" hks cat back. it seems to be running 1 bar on the defi boost guage, it doesnt have boost contorller at all. so exhaust must have bumped up the boost a little. these are the only engine mods to the car. turbos are stocko's. any help would be much appreciated Im seeming to average about 400km/tank down to the last line, not down to fuel light on. How much does it have to go with fuel light on? Cheers 85URK

how were you trying to spool, isnt yours n/a michelle? but if there is any type of leaks around your piping clamps or split hoses the computer will sense it and run in a safe mode and wont let the engine rev. split piping or vaccum hose leaks somewhere can cause this type of problem.

coilpacks? swap some out of another car and see if they have an affect on the car aswell. they will fatigue over time and especially if they are the original ones. if so replace them with new ones. if thats the problem.

ive ordered a few things through them, not very large items and i have had them delivered with in the period they state on there site, if not weeks for harder to get stuff, who they obviously have to get through other suppliers in japan for you, like oem stuff through nissan.

might be your ignitor pack on the back of engine? maybe get that checked out borrow one form another RB20 and test it in your car? to eliminate that problem.

gt starlet, they are good bang for buck imo. also maybe a corolla with 4agze or 20V conversion. u still might be able to find one for about 5K. or daihatsu charade turbo, some honda with engine swap for say H22a or something. look for cool kei cars, but coz they are rare to be the turbo import versions in oz, im sure they woudl want more for them. or just buy this one lol http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...rbo&trecs=2

nah not gonna get different colour plates, not worth the money to change them over, i can spend the cash else where. im happy with it.

No, when i picked the car up it was idleing at 1500rpm flat out, wouldnt go any lower, we adjusted it down and now it idles fine. i thought it was idle control valve or tps or something but it was just turned up.

ok guys, had the attessa system bled today, the little white connector seemed to be up under the dash more on my R33 gtr not in kick panel, maybe that was on r32 GTR. but we got it sorted in the end. And the high idle problem seemed to be caused by the idle screw under the plenum was screwed up to 1500rpm for some reason. so we screwed it back to 1000rpm for idle , seems to work fine now. tps was working fine and so was the idle control valve.
