plugs are gapped down to 0.8mm, unless they have opened up in the last 3000km since i changed them at my last service, and also The R+R thing seems to be what its doing, but on the avcr it wont drop boost below 10psi coz that's what it runs standard now with the exhaust and extra flow. i have got it running pretty much the lowest boost it will with the standard wastegate.

Hey guys, i have R33 gtst 95 model, rb25det engine, anyway car is basicly stock turbo, stock computer, has 3" turbo back exhuast, greddy fmic, avcr b/c, split fire coilpacks, walbro 255L fuel pump installed, now if im travelling along at 60km/h drop it back to 3rd or 2nd and flatten it, goes through the rev range fine until it gets to 5000rpm then it feels like it drops off power until about 6000 rpm then comes on full power again until redline at 7200rpm, now i dont know much about the avcr i have it set up on self learn mode, i have been told that its not the best way to run it, but i just got it set up so it goes to all stars and left it so it was safe, running 10psi which is about right with what a standard car would run with ungraded exhaust on it. still does has this problem at that boost. any ideas?? Hey guys, was just watching brisbane extra when they started on about the "HOONS" thing again, and then i thought oh here we go again, but then they showed some guys from the BADD BOYZ club (i think) anyway they were promoting burnouts at archerfield tonight and regular events held every month. its probably been going on for a while now, but they must have got some tv coverage finally for there events, i was just wondering if anybody goes to these and is it a good night out?

depends when u get the cops if they are routine traffic cops doing random breahte tests etc you'll usually be ok if u are drunk or on drugs and are doing the right thing, but if u come across the STTF (state traffic task force) when they are running a blitz, then you will meet some cops who arent so friendly towards imports and there drivers. or any modified car for that matter

very true, i have said before if u look back at the first season of uk top gear back in 2002 when this newer format was started it wasnt that great either, but it has evolved into a great show now. hopefully they will get better at there camera shots and the likes and i think that is what makes the UK show look alot better when they are driving is the shots they use, makes it look fast paced and when they are testing and clarkson reports with such passion and enthusiasm, that sort of makes the show i think. but i think they need to finda new test track, that one makes it kinda looks like they are in a coles carpark with a few witches hats set out. not really exciting at all.

i rekcon they should have got some presenters that people actually know or have heard of before? coz i reckon these guys cant drive for shit from there pansy reviews. atleast if they had a credible driver type like say jim richards or some ex aussie racer in the show it would give it more crediblilty i reckon.

Top gear was a little bit better this week i think, maybe not the cars they tested etc but just seemed like they connected better as a team. but that GT40 was sweet. id have that for sure.

im from maroochydore/mooloolaba way, but im in noosa most days in my work ute though, i always keep an eye out for new rides and imports up there? i havent seen you guys yet though. go out to the rock nightclub in hastings street or the villa out near the macca's in noosaville, they are probably the best places to go out up in noosa, also there is the reef hotel aswell as you head down the hill towards the beach it's on your right.
