Newly Awaken's cruise are the only good ones they organise up here from boost. but they are slowly getting less and less people coming along.

yeah im looking to upgrade from the skyline, something that doesnt stand out to the cops as much, and is fuel efficient with more power.

was it just for something usual or some bullshit rule they made up? they have been hounding lately round the place but they do it every year around this time, the funding must have come through again for them.

anybody venturing down to power cruise at all this weekend?

well man i can tell you in the flesh i reckon its sweet but i have always thought that, not stuck in the past moving to the future. and i bet a drive in one would change your mind. the underside of the car is like smooth, no exhuast or anything hanging down for aerodynamics, im not 100% sure on how u enter the car but looks like some sort or scan key system to open the doors, doesnt really have handles from what i saw. and did any1 else see in todays paper scott juniper bought an R35 GTR its on the coast, a white one, hopefully when it gets complied we might get to see it round the coast a bit more and see how it goes on the streets.

Argh yeah almost forgot! The R35 GTR from haltech was there! what a machine that was, sweet bit of gear. was talking to the haltech guy for a bit, he said all they have done to it is put in a haltech ecu (obviously) and put on 2 GFB BOV's, thats it. and they did a few exhibition passes with joe signorelli behind the wheel, best time of the day was 11.50. The best it has ran was an 11.1 at wsid, its got 400KW at the wheels with the haltech computer made an extra 50KW from the upgrade. i dont have a camera at the moment unfortunately, but there is heaps of them all over the net on bc and ausrotary etc Vl turbo blew plenum while boosting on the line and shit flew out of bonnet every where, mercury motorsports mazda 3 was racing shat pistons and crap all over the track. and a few other oil downs and a few hairy moments, but other then that the 2jz seemed to reign supreme over the weekend with some slid 6 second passes.

Sweet, will be there again this year. always a good weekend out. been going since since 99 havent missed one yet. it seems to come round quicker every year lol.

I went to this last year as a few of my mates were entered, there was some good old school classic there, and a few newer ones aswell, well worth the look.

Watch out for cops in a black hummer on the coast, they are cruising round booking people, and there is a honda accord i think aswell not sure what colour it is. but they are all newish cars, 2 ppl i know have been booked for different offences in the past week.

look for remmapped ecu's in here by dr drift. im not sure he can do 34's but as far as i know he's done skylines for ages. but u wont find a place on the coast that can do it there just isnt the market for it. but ive heard of dr drift travelling in aust to remap a bunch of guys cars. so if he still does it it might be an option.

thats why i got one. i wanted to fit in with the cool crew. now im accepted. now all i need to do is lower it until the sill scrape the road and run 20's tuckin in the rear and the front raised up likes its gonna take off.

argh yeah sweet as. that sounds like a sweet holiday. So what did u pick the car up for anyway if u dont mind me asking? just want to see what they would sell for over there. probably like $500 like a vb commodore over here. lol
