  11. There is an old z down in kawana i saw yesterday its white with blue Gt stripes up it, it didnt look too bad either.
  12. At my work we sell air-cell glareshield, its a product that is used to insulation in the building industry, i was going to use some if this in my engine bay for cooling etc. its probably not affordable really to buy to do your car with but its would be great for this purpose i reckon. its like a foil on both sides and bubble wrap in the middle, its designed for keeping heat out of housing etc. http://www.air-cell.com.au/pages/products.htm i reckon this would be great for cooler piping and cai boxes etc. one day i will give it a go i think.
  13. we are all boost cruisers, havent u seen the thread CD?
  14. Over this weather, pisses me off.
  15. the small rubber bottom i got doesnt fit tight like the standard one, the half round shape it fits into wasnt the same size on mine. so i just modified the standard one, seems to work just as good anyway, had no problems with it. pumps fine.
  16. yeah that was what i was talking about, but anyway on my fine they mispelt my name, and said the vehicle was a sedan when it was a coupe etc and they just went ahead and changed it to suit them.
  17. i thought u wrote up the page more there was something else they didnt spell right? and u might have a slim chance of fighting that. anyway. doesnt matter, i hope u get off this anyway. seem like alot of BS to me.
  18. yes correct. the original ticket had the wrong information written on it, and they cancelled the original ticket and reissued it with the correct information on it when i wrote a letter to them stating my complaint. so i still got fined but they changed the info where they originally stuffed up on it.
  19. just an experience i had with a fine, they made a mistake on my fine, i sent in the letter etc to the place it says on the fine, stating the problems i thought were wrong on the fine etc, and would like the fine waved, they sent me a letter back saying, thank you for pointing that out we have cancelled that fine and issued you with a new one with the correct information on it. so they will most likely do this to you if u send them a letter stating the fine is wrong. better to speak with the lawyer about if the fine is wrong can u get it dissmissed in court, dont even give them a chance to change it.

  25. Well i installed my walbro today (from sliding performance) anyway had a bit of trouble with the fuel pump isolator rubber that goes on the bottom, its to small to hold the pump in place on the standard bracket, so i modified the standard one by cutting it to fit the fuel pump as best i could, it sits slightly adjar bcoz of the filter sock that comes with this pump doesnt go down where the standard one goes it goes out to the side instead. i just want to know with this not being as deep as the standard one will i have trouble with fuel pick up etc? also i zip tied the pump into place to stop it from moving. so it shouldnt slip off the bracket at all now. sounds a bit dodgey but we made sure it was sitting as close to stock as possible. other then these problems it was all pretty straight forward. id like to hear a few more story's of people who have installed walbro pumps to see if they had any problems with there installs? Cheers Daz
