2001 250 GT problem Hi All, If I have this in the wrong category, please shift it across as necessary my 2001 250GT has a miss which I presume is a spark plug issue as I don't think they have been changed for a very long time - my daughter previously owned the car.... it has 180,000 km and is in fantastic condition except for the miss, which is worse on start up but seems to improve slightly once it warms up. that would normally suggest a sensor problem, rather than spark plugs, but my daughter had the vehicle tested by a service shop and they say the codes suggest bad spark plugs. i will be in Auckland late November from my home in Canada, and i intend to start by replacing the plugs and then go forward from there. My questions are as follows: 1. What is the preferred sparkplug for this car? 2. From what I can see it needs a special long sleeve plug wrench. Are they readily available in NZ or should I buy one online? 3. Any other hints or tips that may help? I assume it will be a tough job to get the back three plugs out. thanks al Gill Edmonton Canada

New forum member Hello All, My name is Alwyn Gill and I presently live in Edmonton Canada but will be spending my northern winters in Auckland with my daughters family there. I have purchased a 2001 Nissan Skyline 250GT from her, with 180,00KM on the clock. The car is in beautiful condition with the exception that it has a miss that has been diagnosed as being worn out sparken plugs. Plugs are way cheaper here than in AKL, so I was going to buy them here and when I am there for Christmas change the plugs. Are there any other known faults I should consider, such as whether the built in coils may be faulty, and do I need a special spark plug wrench to remove them? I assume its a bugger of a job particularly removing the back three plugs....... Thanks in advance,
