  6. Cheers mate. Car will most probably be gone this weekend. The guy is going to put a deposit down tomorrow but we'll see what happens. Looks like it could sell right on time for my new job.
  7. didnt really think about the whole weight with the RB20 silvia/180. Ive been finding a few good SR silvias etc at pretty good prices. Think ill look into them a bit more. What would be sorta MUST BE mods for a SR silvia. Deffinatly coilovers adjusted right, turbo back zorst and fmic + a little extra boost for some more go. What other options would be good to take?
  8. man this project is wicked. Has inspired me a bit to look into building a cheap drift car. no where near this extent.
  9. Hey. Im currently selling my R33 to get a 4 door car for a new job but with the money left i am considering making a weekend car which i can occationally take to the track to try drifting. Now i have been toying around with ideas of what i should do and what is the best way to spend my money. 1st idea is to import a R32 GTST. Not sure exsactly yet how cheap i can get one for but basically just have coilovers, turbo back zorst, fmic, bit more boost, strip inside a bit and make a 2 seater. 2nd idea is to import a S13 silvia or 180. Drop in an RB20DET and yer as above coilovers, zorst, fmic, boost, strip inside and make 2 seater (basically are anyway haha) 3rd idea S13 or Silvia with an SR20DET. Same work again. Alternatly there is always a AE86 already set up for like 6grand haha but would rather stay with a nissan. What would peoples recomendation be? Not 100% sure what i want to do yet just tossing around ideas with what i would like to do as i dont want to sell my 33 and then have just a boring 4 door work car Please give me possitive and negative points of each idea and the best choise?
  10. Bump. $17,500 no offers. Must sell as i need to get a new 4 door car really soon.
  11. The car is now on ebay for anyone who is interested.
  12. Anyone want to buy my R33 so i can get my next car Not 100% sure what i am doing for my next car yet. Im selling my car as im getting into real estate and will eventually need a 4 door to take clients around. How ever i am starting off with a traineeship so i have a year or 2 still untill i need one and for now i get given a company car for work and out of work for that matter to. So i have been toying around with the idea of building up another S13 with a RB20 in it again and wouldnt mind trying out some drifting at the track. And still have the rest of the money left over put aside for later when i need another car. Would love an R34GTT or S15 but at the moment they are both out of my price range One day ill get my R34 Z-TUNE haha
  13. I had 19s on my R33 with no hassels what so ever but if it is lowered i would deffinatly get a rear camber kit. I chewed out the inside of 2 19" tyres in about 3 months. Outside was perfect. :S
  14. Ive had a couple of people PM me asking for pictures of the interior and engine bay so ill post them up in here for anyone interested. I do have more pictures of the car and can take more of anything of interest for people.
  15. yer i was planning on twin thermos for my 33 but yer ive put it back up for sale again anyway so there really isnt any point pouring more money into it. Thanks for all the advice and oppions guys. Will keep it in mind for a future car. Oh and by the way about the whole thing about some people not liking thermos and would rather the clutch can, Im sure it would be a greater HP increase from using thermos + better cooling. As was said about the power useage i think it would be less strain on the motor using a little more power then a big heavy viscous fan?
  16. my mate decided that he could hook up his catch can him self on his R32. Not thinking it out properly as far as i remember he hooked one upto a breather and the other onto the intake somewhere. Cant remember exsactly. But then driving out that night he was wondering what was going wrong with his car, The oil dipstick has blown out spraying oil every where. put it back in and topped it up with oil. Same thing again. Asked what was going on and he said he had hooked the catch can up, looked at the set up and it was presurising the motor and blowing the dipstick out every time he boosted it haha. Pointless story but pretty funny all the same
  17. how much are these SITC? i have been looking at the SAFC2 for awhile now doing some reading on them but not as yet looked at the SITC?
  18. Thanks for your help guys. Yer that was the thing i was thinking about with the thermo on the cooler say if you stopped at lights it would always still be putting air through the core. Might look into 1 16" put it on one side of the radiator and possibly a smaller fan on the other half which would fit. Although 1 16" thermo would have better cooling capabilities then the factory clutch fan wouldnt it? And also why many people say not to use a thermo? I thought it was a bit less strain on the motor and would provide better cooling?

  21. when i first got mine it was fantastic ah. Did not spike what so ever and boosted up really fast. but after awhile i duno it started to stuff up and was spiking at 12psi when i only have it running 9. I have seen it go a little more so yer ive take it off and put my turboXS controller back on. Trial and error i guess.
  22. i was having idle problems so i went and saw my mechanic friend. He told me to get this stuff from the Subaru Dealer which is a Upper Engine Cleaner. You spray it into a vaccum line in the plenium then do what it says. it clears out all the carbon build up and junk. I also added in some Nulon Trade Strength injector Cleaner. Useing the both of these my car runs much much better while driving and goes seems to have heaps more power and the idle does not hunt any more. The stalling side of it he rekons is the idle control sensor which apparently with shit fuel we have around here chokes it up. How true is all this? Must have some trueness to it as my car is running heaps better since i didd this at the cost of all about $25.
