  1. Hey. Im after a really cheap project car if anyone has something they want to get rid of. Alternatly would anyone be interested in swapping for a R/C Nitro car. The car is a 2 speed with heaps of accesseries with it. Shell is an S15 200SX drift shell. Awsome car and goes heaps fast. Comes with heaps of parts, tools, controller, few wheels, glow plug warmer etc etc all worth over a grand when new Perfect condition only had about 1L of fuel put through it. So if you have anything and your around the NSW South Coast send me an email [email protected] Interested in some sort of old datsun, mazda, toyota, something along those lines. Already had an offer for a Nissan Gazelle but still just thinking bout that one. See what else is out there

  5. i found the fan blades to be one of the hardest jobs to do i rekon.... I didnt know what to use to i used side cutters and a hack saw blade... what an effort.... pretty dam bodgy but it worked.... how do other people do them out of interest??

  7. cool thanks for that mate.. yer well as said in another post im wanting 200-220rwkw on the stock turbo so yers sound like the GTR pump is the way to go..... Do you remember how much it was roughly?
  8. Hey im looking at doing some upgrading of performance parts on my car and one of the most obvious upgrade is a higher flow fuel pump... Was wondering if the OEM R33 GTR fuel pump would be a good upgrade for my R33 GTST? What are they rated at compared to say a 044 or something? I was talking to my mate about it and he was saying i would need to upgrade my fuel pressure regulator as well other wise it would be a useless upgrade of the pump. Is this true or is this just drunk mates thinking they know best? <_<

  11. i did a hybrid FMIC on my other white R33 i used to own.... what a bitch of a job.... shattered a 9" cutting through the front bar support and just getting the right cut out for the cooler to sit in, then cutting the fire wall, playing with the front bar etc etc etc... yer well it was my first go at anything like it and i got it in the end.... wasnt a TO bad job... bar was a little dodgy but hey what can ya do.. heres a couple of pics from it..
  12. yer yer yer i know that stuff but im just talking now how ive seen 200-220rwkw using the stock turbo... was just wondering would it be possible with the following mods. Fmic turbo back zorst CAI apexi s-afc2 GTR fuel pump 12psi boost? anything else?
  13. and is there anythign else i would need to upgrade apart from FMIC, SAFC, fuel pump or should that basically do it??
  14. hmmm to many options haha already got a turbo back zorst, hks filter, blitz bov, and one of those boost controllers from the forums, fmic is in a month or so just after i get my interior done THEN i might just settle for the SAFC.... not sure but i have a feeling my car might already have an upgraded fuel pump..... might rip her out one day when im bored and see wat it says on it... would a GTR fuel pump be a good and easy upgrade if im just wanting to push 200-220rwkw?? and would they be cheaper just using an OEM GTR fuel pump or just get a bosch 044 or something... sorry if im sounding dumb but yer just wana take the right approch instead of buying stuff which wont be much good to me....
  15. i think im going to take my covers off and give them a new coat of black around the lights then ill decide to leave them off or polish the covers up so there clear again.... Any pics of the 33 which was in hot4s at all?
  16. yer had a look through there and theres some pretty interesting stuff in there... I really only want about 220rwkw or so... nothing spectacular and actually after reading the sticky about different turbos thinking of just keeping the stock turbo and just upgrade the ECU and other things and just grab 200rwkw or so... one more thing..... the apexi SAFCii i have noticed is used in quite a few of the cars pushing 200+rwkw.... they arnt overly expensive but by the looks of it they seem pretty good???? What are peoples oppionions on them without rushing out and blowing $1200 on a PFC etc.... my mate has a new Emanage to suit my car, hes going to get back to me with how much he wants for it... with harness and tuneing software etc...
  17. just out of interest has anyone tried a GT28RS on an RB25? i know there a t28 flange but it could be customised on i guess.... just wondering what the results are like....

  19. how much is the GCG hiflow? i was considering getting the stock one hiflowed but heard its likes $1100 or so still ??? and yer the T70 is an ebay job he got awhile ago..

  21. Been looking at upgraded turbos for my RB25 and have been noticeing most of them are only oil cooled... Now i know the stock turbo is oil and water cooled so why are most after market ones only oil cooled and is having the both better??? Also my mate has a T70 wet floating bearing turbo which he bought for his VL... Now ive seen this thing and its bloody big and he asked if i wana buy it... Im a bit put off as of the size.... i dont really need anything that big plus wouldnt it be pretty laggy? Once again its only oil cooled..... Be great if people could help me out. Cheers
  22. ive seen guages which have the tacho reading and a shift light around them... i rekon they look pretty trick... not sure what size it was thought think they where 2". I wouldnt mind finding out how much they are anyway for my self??
  23. would be good but im sure would cost a mint.. Anyone know of any aftermarket headlights for 33s outta interest? Ive never seen any...??
  24. oh and another one of my mates has an R32 GTST and he loves it... usual mods like fmic, zorst, filter, and 10psi.... he cuts the best nuts in the wet in it as well.... totally on the spot round donuts haha
  25. my mate had an R33 GTR and i think he said he was paying $3000 a year and hes 24... Think thats how much it was but not 100%
