i have used the jaycar amps a few times and they have been very good and even better value. a cheap option for an amp that is great bang for your buck is a brand called cutting edge not sure if they are still round. as for a sub i am a fan of the 10 or 12w3v2 from jl audio for mild to mid set ups but again you should choose the sub that sounds best for the type of music you listen to. what ever sub you get it should be in a box that is the correct size etc etc. as for the install you might want something like in the last post here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...opic=106866&hl= mr 32

i have the pionners in my capri and they are good you just need a good amp to drive them and have a good H/U with decent pre outs. i also would tell you to go into a car audio should and listen to all the splits they have and get them to run them off the amp you will by and the h/u if you can.

spotted "RB26" again at west side exhuast yesterday.

you can mount the tweeters on the plastic trim on the top of the door its the bit that looks like the same shape as side mirrors.

if the head unit is not installed correctly eg the HU chassis has some movement then this can also cause skipping.

look at one that has the best equaliser options and rca outputs for your price range.

it took me on my 32 about 3-4 hours

if your looking for a good front stage i would recomended getting 6.5 inch splits. as for brand go into your local car audio place and have a listen to a few diffrent ones and chose the one you like the best. if you chose to get splits make sure you get an amp to utilise them. mr 32

that not a bad idea, because the engine build is at least 2-3 months away for the capri. i'll just have to wait till my Garage/Workshop is finished being renovated.

i got bigger idea's for the gtr

what do you think of these turbos. there r33 LM N1 turbos. does anyone knoe how fast they will spool off a 3.1-3.3L motor (there not going on the gtr)
