Yeh when i spoke to jem they where very help full. just a hard decision because the engine wont be run in and wont have abase tune so im just a bit worried who i go to as there is a chance that it could go a bit pear shaped after all the work that is going to be put in. mr 32

i looking at 3 tuners but dont know which one to use. it for an installation of an haltech e11v2 on an efi/turbo conversion on a 71 capri. 1. HITman pros: good rep, good reviews, very professional neg: distance to tow the the car to install and tune ecu, price alot more for samethings. 2. Just engine managment pros: very close, good prices neg: dont know anything about them, no one i know has used them 3. micks motor sports pros: very close to engine builder, using two bost controllers for more accurate boost controller, same price as JEM neg: dont know anything about them, no one i know has used them has anyone used them before or has a review about them? thanks mr 32

does anyone know anything about the bosch yellow tops, magna "spec" injectors, im told at 48 psi they flow 24lb. how much power will these support. and what flow is 24lb im only use to 550cc injectors etc what would there cc be rated at. (there not for the skyline) thanks mr 32

yep there is. it was built at the japboyz shop, its a replica with a z-tune bonnet. the engine has some extra work too so it can rev a bit more from what sasha told me. all stainless pippes have been replaced with Titanium pipes. it looked like the biggest sleeper before when it had no decals and stock gtr rims.

how would i check the maf's? i do have ssq's but even if they dont go offit still does it.

ok I was driving along today and I did a extremely slow sift into third and I look down and the tacho is sitting on zero when i had the clutch in So I tried it again when I was in 4th doing 60km/h just pushed it in and left the clutch in same thing drop from bout 2500 down to 0. I doesn’t happen when I am stopped but does sometimes when im going very slow with clutch in. mr 32

i would say its your remote turn on. try hooking it up to the accesoriers if it turns on its your head unit. take it back and get them to replace it. also check the fuse on the power cable and your grounding wire.

this is my install in the capri only was able to get one side there is anthor amp on the other side. havent got round to the gtr yet but it will have 2 jl w3 subs, running off 2 jl 500/1 mono blocks. the fronts are kicker splits running off a jl 4 channel 350w with a pioneer deck. the front splits will be upgraded to jl audio high end splits soon to. mr 32

What you need to do is 1. In the car on the drivers side take of the kick panel (right foot side when sitting in the car) with this off you should be able to see the firewall and in the corner a large rubber grommet. 2. Jack the car up, front driver’s side wheel, take the wheel off. once the wheel is off you need to remove the plastic cover in the wheel arch. don’t take it all off as there are like 500 screws just what is nessacery to pull part of it down. ps. you might want to put some car stands to hold the car up instead of leaving the car on the jack 3. standing at the side of the car where you took the wheel off take the power cable and push it through the guard there should be an opening near brake booster side of the guard (back end of the guard behind the strut tower) just feel around under the guard to find the opening. once you have found the opening, push it through the cable should know be in the wheel arc where you pulled the wheel cover down. put your hand up there and find the cable and then push the cable trough the grommet you should be able to feel it at the back of the guard 4. the cable should now be inside the car mr 32

if you are not woried about the people that sit in the back or your not planning on running 5.1 dolby for dvds dont worry about rear speakers you will get better sound quality. i dont run rear speakers in my gtr or the capri. the money you can save you can get a better amp for the fronts or better 6inchs. mr 32

yeh any 6 to 6.5 inch speaker will fit. being loud will come down to a few things such as what you run the speakers off how much power (wrms not just watts) and the sensitivity. eg head unit will be about 16wrms depending on brand etc etc. if you run them off an amp that is 100wrms the amp will not distort at the same level as the head unit. sensitivity has a part as well if your speakers have a sensitivity: 89dB/Wm a speaker that has a sensitivity 91db/Wm needs less power to produce the same sound as that with 89db/Wm. i hope this helps mr 32

the company needs a new logo and wanted to know if you could help out or new someone that could this is our old logo as you can see it is a bit old and a bit off to one side. the new logo i was thinking of is just L&A to match the company name, in an oval with a font like this so basically something like this(see below) we work with metal so maybe the colours could reflect that or maybe a them? let me know thanks mr 32 new_logo_style_1.bmp old_logo.bmp new_logo_2.bmp
