  18. Was a great day, thanks Steve for orginising the day and all the effort you put in for the day. also thanks to Charlie for the drinks a life saver on the day. also to everyone else that helped out. mr 32
  19. i though it might be the afm itself. but it could be the wiring as it doesnt happen all the time. and some times it is hard to start with out giving it a bit of a boot.
  20. im not sure. i will check if they run coil packs
  21. you have to remove the bar that holds them down from inside the boot. get into the boot remove the cover where the battery is and look up from under the parcell tray. you should see the original speaker holes. there should be a par that runs across the lenght of the speaker hole that is contected to a bolt which is connected to the speaker. it should be held in place by a wing nut remove this the bar should come off and now you should be able to remove the speaker. mr 32
  22. my mate just bought a gtir and he has a problem at 4000rpm it just dies like it hasnt got spark or fuel, it doesnt stall but loses all power. just changed the spark plugs and leads and gapped them to 0.7. made no diffrence has any one had any experanice with this? thanks mr 32
  23. the stuff i used came from the usa i can get the specs but for 1m of 2inch it was about 700aus and 1m of 3inch was about 1200aus i think the dollars was about 65c us at the time. if you know what you want i can get you a price from the wholesaler if you want.
  24. i agree with the falken ziex being one of the worst tyres around, lost it a few times under no throtle in the xr when it would ran, not much better in the dry. i run goodyear eagle f1's now best tyres i have used also have used goodyear revspecs also very good and well priced. for the gtr next time i will get f1's. ring goodyear in bankstown 9790 3919 and ask for david tell him norm sent you will look after you. mr 32
  25. i dont need 6 thats why i said 3 on the left. because i find it hard to see the apexi with pillar mount gauges. and beacuse the 3 gauge din centre will be removed for the rest of the audio setup
