    yeah i saw it on the news. I spent most of the weekend working ... I went to it a few years ago and it was good fun to watch, seems the cars have become faster, i think last time iwent there was 1 wrx and the rest were older cars.

    good luck finding a used one here in australia. I remember seeing one go for about 115,000 yen new on yahoo auctions a fair while ago. Its the sme as finding one for a CA18DET S13. Their not that common because they are easily "chipped".

    I had one of these in my old R33, if you set the gain too high and you for some reason get wheel spin (happen to me on the highway in the rain) the boost will spike. I had it set on about 1.3 Bar and it spike to 1.8 bar when the gain was on 45 (was testing). Anything above 25 in my old car cause a fairly larger spike ie, 0.2 bar or more in cetain conditions.

    damn that sucks, good luck with the insurance though it was painful trying to make a claim when my missus hit a dog - their easy to deal with when they have someone to return money back but when its a pure "accident" they can be real pricks.

    to what extent is the HKS GTR lightened? From the video and photos I've seen its still a full chassis with lightened panels.

    Ah, cool , yeah their not quite $800 you can order them from japan for about 650 new or get someone like Slidewize to chase up a second hand one from yahoo auctions, their not that bad.

    Does anyone make a dual canon exhaust for a R33 gtr anymore?

    When i brought my GRT into the country I used Mac Customs - 07 3868 1590. Fax 07 3268 2191. I never had a drama with them with my car. Try them and see if they will do smaller items.

    The only way you will get a white 300km\h speedo is if you buy a Nismo one designed for a GTR. You can easily get a white 180km\h face off ebay or somewhere like that.
