just put an rb25det in my r31 and during the conversion the fuel pressure regulator got damaged and has a leak, now while driving at half throttle everythings fine but when i floor it like sort of cuts out and in violently, so my first question is would the leak on the fuel pressure regulator be the problem or could it be something else, secondly the fuel pressure regulator will need to be repaced so should i get an aftermarket one while im at it or look for a second hand stock one, and if aftermarket what one?

just droped my car in to get my fmi installed and the dude said it would be $100 cheaper if they didnt polish the stainless steel pipeing, so i said not to bother polishing it, but i really dont know how to polish stainless and im hopeing i can do it without any machinery i dont have, so advice would be very much appreciated.

i would love to see this fenn-mobile cause i just did the same conversion to my gt passage, it would be cool to compare the two.

ok dont want my cooler core covered in that white powedy looking stuff cause i had that on my old stock cooler and it looked horrible. so do i have any other options? maybe just painting it black again if i have to ? all help very much apprectiated

thanks neil, if i take the paint off and expose the bare metal wont it rust, or do u coat it with something?

i just bought a second hand gtr intercooler and it has paint chips and the black paint dosn't appeal to me much and ive heard around that they can be acid dipped, anodizing or something like that to clean it up and remove the paint, could someone please explain what options i have and where i could get it done. any help is very much apprectiated.

how much do ya want for the compressor and bracket

have u got ac condensor and bracket, if so how much u want for them.

dont think its the boost guage cause i would still notice the extra power gained as i continue to wind the bleed valve further and further

im looking to buy a ac compressor and bracket for an rb25det off someone, but first i want to find out how much u should be able to get this stuff for so i dont get ripped off. so some advice would be very much appreciated.

no its got a haltec ecu so cant be the boost cut

we ran a cupple of tests where we replaced the restrictor with one with a smaller hole and when that did nothing we blocked the acuator completly thinking the boost should in theory just keep getting higher, but still exactly the same result. i found this really weird.

no dont think thats it hes got aftermarket computer, no boost or speed limiter

a friend of mine has a bmw with a rb25det in it. its got a hybrid turbo and is supposed to be able run 18psi, problem is we cant get it to go over 14psi no matter what we do, btw its controled by a bleed valve. anyone heard or experienced anything like this.

has any one here put a late r31 front bar on the early r31 or would u know anyone that did it. form what i can see it could be done by cutting the bottom off each side of the quarter panels where the bottom part of the bar bolts on, but not confident enough to go through with it till ive talked with someone who has seen it done before.

thanks for the reply, its an import r31, still a tad confussed so i checked out the volk website and the 16" 4 x 114.3 rims have the following offsets 16x7 : 25 33 42 16x8 : 38 42 are u saying that as long as there not +42 i should be right? the reason why i need to know for sure is there in japan i would be paying for them before i got them so would be in some deep shit if they didnt fit right.

im just a rookie when it comes to cars and really need advice, ive been looking at getting wheels for my r31 skyline, ive been told that the offset is +25, but does that mean i cant get anything but wheels with that offset? cause after looking around in this forum ive found that people have got different offsets on the rears to the front. a company found some volk rims and said the thy should fit my car as they came off a 180sx, all i really know is that there 16x7 on the front and 16x8 on the back, and that the stud pattern is the same. im fully confussed so advice would be very much apprectiated.
