  1. KERMIT ENGINEERING is now operating out of JSHOP . I would suggest those seeking a muffler check out the XFORCE 3" inlet muffler available from JSHOP themselves . Tip is 5 " i think . kermit
  2. hey mate , some systems can be modified to sit higher although if you middle muffler is damaged it is possible that a new system would be a good idea . bets bet is to drop in sometime and let me take a look and i can advise you whats best . I am always honest and if the cheaper option is viable then thats what i will recommend. kermit 0422549050 give us a call
  3. i dont but just picture 2 3" stainless pipes spaced 15 mm apart ( shotgun style ) with the most blood curdling noise you could ever imagine . is still fully custom to suit what ever car you drive. kermit
  4. actually its a 3" to custom twin 3" shotgun set up but yes it does sound awesome kermit
  5. hey ty , a stainless side pipe ( dont do mild steel ) is fine but due to cams regs has to exit just in front of the rear tyre. can happily make these up for $ 170 which will include a bracket to prevent rattling. kermit 0422549050
  6. hey mate , of course you can have a sticker , i remember your car , it sounded soo hot lol. was sposed to be coming to the cruise but unfortunately i have to attend a birthday party so will have to catch up another time. kermit
  7. what do think the factory air box used to do? its a box with a cold air flowing in to it , same as stock . of course it will work . also do it yourself , just get some flexible pipe ( avail from hoseco etc) and do it . kermit
  8. will do an exhaust for a lawn mower if i have to. if it drives i can build it. would suggest dropping round for a quote mate kermit 0422549050
  9. awesome mate , appreciate the recommendations kermit
  10. come on guys , need to sell exhausts to fund drift lol kermit
  11. get a split dump mate or even better a justjap racing dump /front which i can then modify for you . kermit
  12. yes dude i to am blessed with the almighty cefiro. same motor too as yours. i can make whatever you need done as long as its steel ( stainless or mild ). gives us a shout sometime or drop in . if car is off the road than depending on the area i may be able to visit you kermit
  13. while im happy to build you a custom dump/front pipe i strongly beleive that you should never spend more than what you have to . a custom piece is expensive compared to a justjap racing product which will do the job fine in a normal application . if it needs custom work than great but if not then i would save your money ( this only applies to dump/front pipes , premade or china catbacks are shit and rarely fit properly ). i would happily fit the premade dump/front though . special care needs to be taken when removing the stock dump as the studs are easily damaged and if too many are damaged then the turbo will need to be removed. pm for quote on fitting if interested . kermit why spend more than what you have to?
  14. yes mate i can do custom dump pipes and screamers kermit
  15. i find that all of the xforce exhausts that ive fitted have been poorly designed with hangers not fitting up and the system hanging too low. the fronts and dumps are ok but the cat backs are poor. kermit
  16. ive not done a 3 bolt dump yet mate. i can get stuff custpm made but the more you supply the less it costs you in the end kermit
  17. what he said kermit
  18. pretty much all exhaust shops stock magnaflow mufflers which of very high quality. i can source Xforce mufflers at very good prices too . i have installed many xforce mufflers and have found then to be very good quality too . kermit
  19. i do custom piping and agree that inlet and outlet on the same side of the cooler is soo much simpler and shorter and doesnt require messing with the battery or washer reservoir . only problem is that the front bar mounting point may need to be modified depending on the cooler . kermit
  20. i prefer stainless steel to be honest . i think it looks neater and is stronger and takes longer to absorb heat as opposed to aluminium . the stainless bends are heaps neater than ali donuts too . kermit
  21. hey mate i am based in perth ( girrawheen ) and i make custom stainless exhausts ( tig welded and by far the cheapest around) and i also fit cooler kits . what brand is the cooler kit as china ones are of poor quality and will be awkward to fit on a r34 ( window washer reservoir needs to be relocated depending on the kit ). price of cooler install depends on the quality of the kit . most workshops charge at least $500 and i charge a fair bit less. pm me if interested Kermit of Kermit Engineering check custom exhaust thread in western australia section of general chat. has pics of my work plus feedback
  22. i wouldnt be too sure about it fitting as ive tried to fit an xforce s13 cat back to a 32 and it was miles out and not worth the hassle to modify it. just line it up under the car and see how it is kermit
  23. exhaust noise is controlled by slowing the gas down as it goes through the exhaust . quiet system equals restriction . kermit ( i build exhausts )
  24. until further notice the $550 cat back special will be indefinate . this is a massive saving over any other shop . kermit
  25. so the rb20 ecu is better than the rb25 ecu because it can be remapped ? i have a rb25det ceffie with a safc2 atm . would i get a better result running a rb20det ecu and getting a remap? kermit
