  1. What's a link setup worth?
  2. Good news the car came back clean on the auction sheets, very happy with result and would highly recommend www.japancarhistorycheck.com. Cant wait to pick the car up :0
  3. The dealer has no problem with an independent inspection ( you obviously arrange). I'm not troubled by the quality, mechanicals or questioning the km's. The condition speaks for itself, my question is the sight of scale/ rust in the wheel wells, is this a normal thing for a 23 year old jap import ? The scale is slight pitting through the body deadner.
  4. Thanks for the advice Bob. On a positive note the dealer has been very accommodating and l can only speak highly of them, there is a large document/ receipt file with car and they had no concerns putting the car on the hoist in there shop. I would recommend them as a shop to visit.
  5. Appreciate it Bob, silly question to correct these items, can l get actual OEM Nissan part numbers from somewhere, is there a parts catalogue available or similar? Can you comment on my concerns of the underbody showing minor rust/ scaling in the wheel wells, is this a common thing for imports? thanks again
  6. There is a website and has been discussed in the importing section of this forum Google japanesehistorycheck
  7. https://carsales.mobi/cars/details/Nissan-Skyline-1993/OAG-AD-13963732 Appreciate the feedback.
  8. Pre-purchase jitters Evening, l need some advice from R32 owners. I've found a very clean original 93 GTR and have placed a small deposit. The car looks very straight, interior is immaculate and original, body is straight, motor looks original and clean, original tyres, basically the car looks legit for 30,000kms. Still has the rubber over the catch for the locks etc. On the hoist, chassis rails are straight underbody looks fine, the only drama l have is the wheel wells have the slightest amount of rust surfacing through the underbody sealer, is this normal for Japan roads and is nissans body deadner crap in this area. The stock exhaust heat shields show rust as well but this is easily fixed! i have a history check in progress as we speak with the auction sheets due back tomorrow, the kms have come back legit, with large gaps in the registration 5 years+. if I'm allowed I can put up the link up for the car, for others to judge? The price is a premium but I'm happy to pay if all is correct?
  9. Pm sent Tony with my email etc. Thanks if anyone else has any leads to cars, preferably in NSW. Please send me a pm.
  10. Appreciate it, I'm finding stock levels of late of quality R32's are thin on the ground, any pointers??I have considered importing but would rather buy in Australia. There are dealer cars chasing up to 58k for a low km example at present!! Garage Defend showed me a car, 28k USD, which converts to $40k AUD, compliance another $10k= 50k total.......... is this the Yankee effect on prices, or am looking in the wrong places?
  11. New looking for a clean R32 GTr Hi everyone, im about to begin the hunt for a clean GTR R32 with low kms, sensible modifications ok, the prices have seemed to skyrocket of late! What should I be paying for a clean car? Carsales seems to have few quality cars available, my budget is $60k Thanks
