i just checked the intercooler pipes and they are not loose. Now, a noob question - am i able to do a compression test while the turbo off? Also, If there is no visible signs of damage on the turbo or oil leak, can it be damaged? because now im questioning whether to take my turbo to get it inspected. what i meant by the oil coming out of the oil cap - as in i found oil on my rocker cover when i opened the bonnet

This is the story, two nights ago i gave my car a little hit on high boost (16-17psi on a gcg hi flow - 247rwkw) and suddenly i lost power , no boost and the car stalled. So i started the car back up again and it was idling very rough. I checked under the bonnet and there was engine oil coming out of the oil cap. First thing i thought was the turbo and i pulled that off today and there were no visible signs of damage (no blown comp or exh wheel) and it spun ok, but im not turbo expert. I might take the turbo down to MTQ and have them check it out but then again, i could have landed a piston. So what do you guys think it could be?? Any help would be appreciated.

I'd thought i'll share this with everyone I recently came back from Japan on a 2 week holiday. On the 2nd last day, i was in Tokyo, i was walking along a main street and what do i happen to walk pass? A Nissan Ginza gallery showroom!!! I could tell you, im convinced after actually seeing the GT-R in real life. Not only that, i got to sit inside and play around. Apparently they were offering test drives. Dammit, if it weren't my last night there... There was another car inside the showroom quite worth looking at, but i wasn't interested in that. I'm sure everyone will agree with me if you were in my position Anyways, i post up some pictures

ok, i took off my Spitfire ignition coil pack because i had water in my engine spark plug area (from the rain) now i seem to have lost 2 of the small springs inside the coils. Where could i find replacement springs??? Im in sydney btw. also, 2 spark plugs that were exposed to water have been corroded around the bottom around the nut area. Should i replace those?
