hey guys just wondering i cant find anywhere to change this setting it says ive got a rb20det where its actually a rb25det and it also happened to my mate and we cant find how to change it any help is appreciated thanks

thanks sydneykid i will look into the springs and shocks and i think i will go for the bendix pads

hey guys just need some advice regarding the choice of new brake pads and springs/shocks. ive been doing a bit of research on here and people seem to recommend bendix ultamate for pads, my mate bought a pair of bendix ultamate pads and the dust is everywhere. is that usual for them? if so what are another good choice that wont dust as much? Also regarding shocks and springs im on quite a budget so i need a alternative to something like bilstein etc i was wondering for the price are kings springs relatively good and are shocks like monroe or pedders(any one know how much they are?) my next choice in like for money? the car is just your normal street car fairly stock any help will be much appreciated thanks

hi viking my mate sorta had that problem when he got his clutch changed it was vibrating and stalling, so he took it back and they didnt adjust it properly otherwise i wouldnt know what would be wrong hope that helps

hey guyz just wondering on your thoughts my friend just bought a 97 r33 and he brought it over last night. i took it for a drive and it was like there wasnt a clutch it was so light no tension or resistance in the pedal, also it would rattle a little. He also told me i hadda hold the clutch in for a couple of seconds before i put it in 1st gear because if i didnt( like i forgot to ) it would crunch 1st gear and not let you put it in. But i gave it a little and it didnt slip so is the clutch finished or could it be something else? something loose? any feedback would be helpfull thanks

thanx for the feed back guys, just one more thing is it true you cant use a series 1 clutch on a series 2 and vice versa?

thanx mr_g ye mines usually from second to third, how much do workshops usually charge to change clutches, and when you change the clutch what else must /should be changed while its already opened down there?

gday done a search and theres been alot about clutches slipping, but just wondering about my situation, normal driving not alot of boost clutch is fine doesnt play up, even when i rev it to like 4-5 without alot of boost it wont do anything just when full boost is there and i push the clutch in like the revs go up a lil like 300-500rpm is that slipping, i think it is but this is my first manual so im not 100% just would like some feed back, car is series 1 r33 standard clutch not making much power atm thanks alot

umm jsikalias just got a front pipe on yes better performance, umm sound wasnt that much noticable when i was in there, sounds a little different coming on to boost

john find out how much it will cost to but it of them!, has this happened to anyone esle if so does anyone know how much it would cost to buy a total write of, from a insurance company?

just want to post a thread stating that last night jsikalias had his 95 model r33 writen of by a lady when he was stopped at a red light GRRRR just after having some work done to it. Its a shame to see it just go to scraps, anyways just putting a thread up here for ya john cheers

gday guyz just wondering i know most people put 3in or 3 and a half in exhausts on their cars from the turbo but just wondering whats stopping people putting like 4, 5 in on, ive heard of people doing 4in but is it just the standard turbo what restricts the size u put on or does a 3in perform better? just trying to increase my knowledge thanx

umm i really just want a replacement for a standard one but a 3inch, shit that sounds expensive just for fixing it, what did they actually do, does anyone know any cheaper places? im in uni so im poor lol

hey guyz was jus wondering how much a exhaust place would charge to make a cat- back exhaust for ya. Or is it better to just buy a already made up one, my standard cat-back is not in that good of condition so i just wanna replace it but with a 3inch, the cheaper the better. Any feedback would be good thanx

heys guys my mate has had his tail light smashed by skyline haters, anywayz i was just wondering we bought a new whole tail light and put it on but the light is pretty dim, i was just wondering can you take out the red caps covering the globes to clean them. Any help is appreciated thanks

hey Abcent im looking for a cat back exhaust aswell, some exhaust places will knock u up one for a reasonable price and also try wreckers they sometimes have spare exhaust laying round. If u go to a performance place they will get you one but at a more expensive price. but usually cat backs should go for 400-700 i think.

hey guyz i want to install a oil temp gauge and was just wondering where is the best place or where is the place u would put the sensor/sender whatever its called in the engine bay for it to read most accurately and is it hard to install? Like me and my mate have done the boost gauge was just wondering if the oil temp is harder thanx

hey pimpenr33 my mate did this to and his stalled a couple of times. There is so much lag because the bov is there to reduce a bit of that lag what builds up wen u let go of the accelerator because the air stays in the pipe with nowhere to go and pushes back onto the turbo i think thats right isnt it guyz? And the reason it stalls is because of the position of the bov in da skylines i think it sucks in extra air or something like that im not 100% tho

hey ecr33 i dont have a r32 or a gtr but i dont think oil coming out of the bov is normal. does it drip out or is it like greasy sticky substance?

hey ULOOOK im still a newbie at all this but could it have something to do with your bigger exhaust causing to much back pressure in the exhaust and pushing back onto the turbines. Or is having a bigger exhaust supposed to releive that back pressure? Like i said im still learning all this stuff Give it a week or so for your car to get used to it i say
