  1. 40 beers haha, legendary camping necessity. Could have got 50 in without the damn champagne:-)
  2. Go the Engel, well worth it in the long run.
  3. There can only be one colour, Carpet matching the curtains. The red beard of champions.
  4. Should have let them loose on the oxy and plasma cutter. You touch this while I push the button. :-o
  5. Born in starter cap with Nike's on ;-)
  6. Yeah my bro reconds the same. Switch it off while it's hot so the oil feed maintains pressure around the bearings. Dave said use it for now on Cool down because the manifold is warped and ticks bad for ages on cool down. Won't matter when it's fixed I suppose. Turbo/manifold blankets/lagging are a trade off because they hold the heat in which makes for less exhaust efficiency due to increased exhaust/turbo temps. Will do dual cai's. One to the original air box position, with the back open towards the turbo and one across the front of the engine toward the exhaust manifold through the hole that isnt used from front facing plenum. Will put heat shielding guards over the manifold and turbo that will hopefully keep the heat down to be blown out by cai's to avoid the stacking issue?
  7. Thanks dale. MIG Welding is just welding, once the geometric pattern development is done I've already lost interest. Parallel, radial line and triangulation is the fun part for me :-) we finally have a bender arriving soon so. Exhaust manifold off, machined, sand blasted and painted with all new studs. Dual cai's, Ali coolant/dual motor washer bottle, pod filter box. Got bad hot air stacking under the bonnet. Would like to do Ali but might be stainless. Due to free bits from work. You know on top of the 50hrs I put in this week. Haven't used the turbo timer because intercooler but you can hear the manifold pinging under cool down. Don't want to go with lagging or blankets because it traps the heat in bad? Any thoughts?
  8. Me too, I would never put the family through dad's adventures. I think the divorce would come through earlier than the death notices, I suppose it's a tourist destination now. Oh we went to Bali for holidays, Wow, my dad nearly killed me. good times when you look back. Staying on uncharted islands off the coast. Running aground out of tide walking through stone fish infested rivers. Ballooning off steep point. Net fishing off Cape croyderin. Fly fishing in Tasmania. Towing boats and freezers with generators selling fish. Dropping Cray pots in south Australia, fishing off the great Australian bight. Even Walpole f**k it! No fish let's take the zodiac out in the ocean at 78yrs of age.:-o
  9. We used to have the old fold out chair but with a dunny seat on it that clipped in. Over the hill out of sight, the old bayonet/shovel arrangement. Loosen the dirt/crust with bayonet. Undo the nut, turn over to shovel, Dig hole, check for Rolf Harris in bushes, do poo, B.C.Fing Fun. Washing in the ocean and creeks. Me Dad uncle Reg and Les, No fear. No shame. Every coastline around Australia and even Tasmania. Xa falcon, 4wd L300, then gq patrol. There used to be a sand bar off red bluff beach in Kalbarri that made for insane fishing. They had pictures of the old man with a massive shark he caught in the red bluff beach caravan park office. Took him 4hrs to reel it in back in the late 70's. I remember going out in the boat dad built in dire conditions hiding under the hull shitting myself in a life jacket to pick up uncle reg's Cray pots when I was 9yrs old. Madness. I certainly don't remember red bluff beach Kalbarri as being boring Martin.:-o
  10. Haha, I remember being in the Cape range national park with dad when I was 10. After net fishing off Cape croyderin. Seen the first actual dunny for weeks went in there so relived then there was a rumble under the ground the instant I cracked the poo. About a thousand flies that hadn't seen a fresh one in months flew up out of the hole and attacked the Virgin anus. Ran to the inland salt flat undies off and washed the anus. Scary:-o
  11. Is that a pistol in your pocket or did you just get Elsied:-P The second jump is always the best! More experience ;-)
  12. Been working in a train for the last week on site. Rail grinding car. You know with the exhausts and mufflers as a after thought. Made this for the exhaust outlet off a critical dB puck muffler. Concentric 180* Y piece. 10" nominal to 8" outlets. Just fitted with enough room for blankets and anti-vibration mounts.
  13. P.s. You are a sick twisted animal. Owns a gt-r and leaps out of a plane into certain death. :-P
  14. Thanks mate:-( should have the car fixed by Australia day. Found my rattle near the turbo, another snapped stud on the bottom of the exhaust manifold. The manifold face is warped so will get it machined sand blasted and paint it. Replace gaskets and all new studs. Work has gone through the roof so hopefully I can sort it in time:-) Time poor atm.
  15. Gt-R35Kizza. ;-)
  16. The Western Australian rotary. Shame it never got off the ground. I used to work in sarich court Osborne Park. Just got back from my mates funeral. :-( huge procession of Harley and triumph bikes. Less patches. The funeral company had to get a Ford hearse from Northam because he refused to be buried in a Holden. Tought me Ali polishing, welding, bending, burnouts, bourbons, beer, strippers and the full gamet of a honest man's debauchery. Skyline was a hairdresser's car. 351 Xc 302 XD bombed 2ltr escort could never catch his Xb coupe during my apprenticeship. Bombed 351 cleavland, predator carb, manualised c10, 3500 stall, 3:95 9". Have been bursting into tears over and over from the good times we had. Got into a police chase leaving a party doing a full burnout. Lost the police in cannington rolled into his parents place with police hiding out the front and back rolled in and shut the coupe down. Lost license for 4 years. Animal. There goes my family protection plan. RIP LES.

  23. Have been thinking about the logitech g29 deal? Wheel plus shifter and gt sport $399. Have completed all gran turismo games with wheel and pedals. Even chipped ps1 and 2 with analogue gear. Had the whole family in the car with food and gifts Xmas day. So plus 400kg. Ran a newish 6.4 ltr 300c from the lights on tonkin, bit behind 1st 2nd, spooling up nicely and passed it in 3rd at 120. :-) Sent from my D6503 using SAU Community mobile app
