  1. Or a beast that will finally shut down all the four door talk? You can borrow my family if you like? Mega traction from the rears if it has enough talking. Yes that is talking from the rear! not torque!
  2. You know for my mate Trev Even though I've no Sau sticker on the car.
  3. Checked the quote with Adam when I got home and looked at it was surprised at the 304 s/s price compared to the m/s price. He confirmed it was correct at cost.
  4. Quote on the 4" o/d stuff 16# at cost. Got a price on 4" strip wound flex also. First pic is description second pic corresponding prices.
  5. the rear part of the p/s trim that goes behind the rear panel and mounts to the bracket.
  6. Flew up to a place called cs01 a few years ago. First pumping station on the natural gas pipeline to Perth. Had to put full s/s 22" spark arresting mufflers on the roof of fully insulated engine enclosures on wakeusha gas fired engines. Was mental. Spent the first day filling out forms down to what knot we were going to tie on the ladders to the roofs. Had to wait for a crane to come out from Karratha and lift the mufflers on the roof even though they had a big manitou that would have done it easily. Then more suits came out and purged the engine with inert gas and monitors to measure the atmosphere in and out side before I done any welding on the roof. Enerflex was doing a refit on the gas turbines at the time and it was crazy. Had to do the same on cs02 a bit later. No one there. Lifted with manitou, blocked off manifolds with plate filled out 1 jsa. First one took 3 days. Second one took a day? Same job? No wonder the state is broke.
  7. Hmm d/s looks sweet. P/s looks like it's missing the back off the side part that would lock the rear in with the plugs?
  8. Bottom stud loose with no nut. Pulled piping and oil feed line cut a 10mm nut in half with grinder locked it up removed it loctited stud back into manifold and replaced with high tensile grip nut. Modified a 17mm spanner.
  9. I found a awesome looking greddy twin washer motor/ bottle setup. And need to fabricate a minimum 1ltr catch can then put a fire extinguisher in. I was going to enter the roll on event at barbagello on saturday night. But had a rattle near the turbo and found this. Then fixed a exhaust manifold bolt. Finished by 3:30pm and thought I'll take it for a spin? Fu## that ridiculous on a damp road let alone rain?
  10. All mine lines up pretty good in there and has the original studs for the strut brace with the plastic still on them. I would eventually like to get rid of the middle of the boot 12"sub deck it out with 2x10" subs on the sides with a mdf piano hinge panel with the amps on the back and a simple lift up for the spare wheel with the new rear Cusco brace?
  11. Thumb is a highly regarded piece of equipment that should last 80yrs! All the rolling folding crushing action machienes we have recommend fingerless gloves.
  12. We have had weekly pre-start on ppe tools machinery forklifts etc. Pain in the ass every Monday morning! So I did a new word document condensed all the pre-starts ppe machinery forklifts into a first Monday of the month with everything included. Check boxes to tick off sign and date with a full machinery maintenance schedule for every piece of equipment. Lubrication tension levels etc. Has been saving time and working great unless I get a paper cut!
  13. We had the safety lady come through work after we moved to new premises. Put a yellow auto lock cabinet in for hazardous materials. (paint, thinners, de-greaser, anti-seize, silicone. Etc.) she went off saying so you've put the cabinet painting and everything in the least ventilated corner of the workshop blah blah blah. Then I switched on the new massive smiths spay booth with full screens and ducting though the roof with a timer so it runs for a minute after you switch it off? She didn't even know what it was till I explained it to her? Madness!
  14. The R&D cost would be through the roof! Literally. Plus hi-vis undies and singlet with reflective tape!
  15. My work has been busy so I'm happy with that. Been loads of setup and working out new machinery. Plus new office, shop floor, and computer work. Refuse to be involved in any botching, bitching and politicking. Do the very best you can in the shortest amount of time for the maximum amount of money. Have bmx with the kids twice a week and pool three days a week for toasted back. Another novelist's post for anyone that cares to read it!
  16. With more double posts and lengthy paragraphs to explain what normal people could within a sentence. Noobilishious:-( the diary of Anne frank on Sau.
  17. I thought everyone left because of my horrid social media etiquette. Double posts and under researched and funded questions?
  18. Max it out. R+D. Your a animal!
  19. I will get you a price on a 3m 4" o/d length m/s and s/s from work which would be 16#. but would assume even at cost price would be expensive. I only build the stuff so have no idea on pricing. The price is saved by using the thinner guage material (0.7ish) and having the proper forming machienes like stratco. Loads of heater shops will carry it in the 0.7mm s/s but like stratco at a profit. I was going to use some 5" 16# tube a few years ago or same stormwater pipe filled with concrete so I could paint it with with marble paint look for AWSEMONESS on my gazebo but just got 100mm square posts sanded them back and stained them in Japan black because was going to cost a fortune in steel or pipe and concrete?
  20. Seems no one is too interested in car talk? I bought a sushi roll a few weeks ago and wished it was a t-bone steak or a t-box or a x-box?
  21. I've been meaning to pick up the Cusco rear brace that goes on the back of the 33 strut towers just because it looks better than the top mounted one and matches the front. Without modifying the rear parcel shelf. I put some new rear alpine speakers in the back a few weeks ago and it was a hassle to remove just for speakers. Any thoughts/opinions on what would be the best? I would assume that the top would be the best for rigidity and strength to match the front and the rear for body rigidity? Love the look of the Cusco stuff.
  22. So long as scratchy doesn't get involved!
  23. Looks very itchy so would do the trick.
  24. Maybe just get one length check how hot it gets? you could lag it where it's near wood gyprock etc. With needle felt fibre glass or the fibreglass roll tape stuff. Or anything else that is itchy. Man I hate lagging stuff up.
  25. Perfect would be way cheaper than s/s or a heavier guage. The zincalume will last for ever indoors.
