  1. Wheel alignment attempted, works 40k machine doesnt list the r32 or r33. R34 settings used. 2 hours of faffing about and its not much better lol have to attempt it again some other time....
  2. Ul have to get him to sign up lol
  3. How long did it take to drop that oil?
  4. More passenger side than drivers? Are the new seals definatly seated ok? Shouldnt have that much oil underneath it unless uv got leaks else where? Sump? Turbo feed or drain?
  5. More of a megaphone than a muffler lol
  6. Winding the coilovers up wont change the spring rate, there fix at the manufacturers spec. Further travel is made harder by more fliud transfer, now u have more fluid either side of the piston its harder for the piston to move. Made ur diff has seen better days? Our cars arnt exactly spring chickens. Years of abuse and the diffs is saying "no i dont want to" lol or on the other side of the scale mabe its not been used hard enough so wasnt quite working as it should? My mates vn ss had a issue with the diff, wouldnt put any power down just spun one wheel. Changed the oil and took it for a sqirt around the block trying to get the diff to work and all of sudden it just did, locked up and holy crap it hauled ass. Been fine ever since and leaves 11's if used in anger
  7. Track temp definatly didnt help, colder it gets the less sticky it becomes and less traction u get. Same principle when its too hot. Diff oil sounds about right, was the old oil burnt? Id day that the shock from spinning the tyres to it gripping proberly caused it to tighten up through heat. New oil and a some maneuvering always helps. Ur shocks are gonna have more travel due to increased hight, more fluid to move bk and forth within its stroke which will make it feel harder
  8. Can u get a better pic of the track conditions? Interested if ur drop in times co-insides with a drop in track temp
  9. Let the psi down, ur never gonna do much with low profile tyres anyways. Ur not gonna have much traction by just droping the clutch at what ever rpm, needs to be a gradual out with the clutch and on with the power. Like i said to pol, find that sweetspot where ur not on full boost but have some to leave with. Takes patience and practice. For the drag car we just stage it and push the transbrake button until the last amber lights up, the delay box then lets the car leaves at full noise when the light goes green lol
  10. I didnt make either, had to go ozzy park after work and didnt get home till 7. A few whiskeys later and i feel calm and collected.
  11. I may go and had a crack, im supost to be playing football tho lol
  12. Look at ur dyno plot, pick the rmp where the car is making about half boost, that will be ur launch staging rpm and initial launch. Then its a case of slip the clutch and nail the throttle when the light goes green. Try it at some traffic lights to get used to the ideal clutch biting/power point, ul know when its right as the car will be hooked up, on boost and rolling hard. Obviously its a feeling that only u will find out, each car and person will be different.
