Ok, as I posted last week my car went into 101 Motorcafe on monday the 10th. I must say these guys were great, they kept me informed of everything they were doing and told me if I was wasting my money (i.e no you don't need a fuel pump yet.) they looked after my car and did a great job of installing the parts and my car now runs so much better. only issue was it took a day longer then expected due to them waiting on a part. I have no hesitation in recomending these guys to anyone. if anyone is looking for a mechanic around the brisbane/ logan area give these guys a call and see what you think.

at least this argument had facts to support it, thanks xxxx for providing a logical point of view. however in defence of auto's (remember I do drive a manual and i do think they are more fun) every person I know who races cars in drags (seriously) be it skylines or v8's or whatever uses an auto (mostly 2 speed powerglides for v8's) now all these people (plus all the ones I don't know, but see on tv) can't be wrong. now before someone jumps down my throat and says it is not the same as a normal stock auto, no maybe not but it is still an auto. the best way to determine this is do what i said before race an auto and manual. if slide is still in and has mods like mine or rwKW close to mine then I am happy to try it.

Ok slide, what mods do you have? what rwKW? lets see if we can find a match.

the simple way to settle this.. the next race day at willowbank (for qld) we get a manual and an auto with roughly the same mods ( or lack of) and race them. problem solved. Ps manuals are more fun

I have to many comments to mention, but one thing I have noticed is as soon as I tell people I have a skyline they all instantly become the worlds best mechanics and know everything. What the hell causes this? in all fairness I have had just as many positive comments as I have had negative ones. Guy in a holden Vk V8 followed me into a car park and pulled up next to me just so he could tell me i had a nice machine. (just for the record I hold most holden drivers in contempt so this guy was pretty cool.)

it is costing me roughly about $2500 give or take $100 depends on labour. i was happy very happy with the price comapered to other places I went.

Hey Guys, as of Monday my car goes in to get FMIC, Timing Belt, Bleed Valve, New 3" exhaust from turbo back, increase boost, Full service and Dyno Tune.
